كانت وثائق ضيعة أوريليوس أبيانوس، هذا الثرى السكندري، وعددها 450 وثيقة وهي من ضمن أرشيف "أوريليوس هيرونينوس" والذي يحتوي على ألف وثيقة بردية، فقد كانت وثائق البردى، وخاصة البردى الذي تم العثور عليه في مصر، هو الأهم، ليس فقط لقيمة معلوماته، ولكن للعدد الهائل للوثائق البردية التي تم العثور عليها في مصر. والتي تعطينا صورة عن الظروف الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والحياة اليومية في مصر اليونانية والرومانية. وكانت ضيعة أبيانوس من أكبر ضياع مدرية أرسينوي (الفيوم حاليا). وقد احتفظ هيرونينوس بوثائق تلك الضيعة بحكم وظيفته كناظر أو وكيل "فرونتيستيس" (سبتمبر (249م- 268م)، في أرشيف يحمل اسمه. وامتازت شخصية "إسخيريون" بملامح مختلفة عن غيرها من مديرين الإدارة المركزية؛ فلم تكن لوظيفته مسمى واضح، ولم يكن له أي ألقاب، ولكن الملفت للنظر هو عدد الخطابات الموجهة منه إلى هيرونينوس والتي بلغ عددها تسعة عشر خطابا تعود للقرن الثالث الميلادي والتي أرخت في الفترة (249- 268م). ومن هنا سوف يركز هذا البحث على محاولة معرفة مهام منصبه ووظيفته، وطبيعة العلاقة بينه وبين هيرونينوس.
The 450 documents of the estate of Aurelius Appianus, this Alexandrian site, were among the archives of “Aurelius Hieroninus”, which contains a thousand papyrus documents. The papyrus documents, especially the papyrus that was found in Egypt, were the most important, not only for the value of its information, but for the huge number of papyrus documents that were found in Egypt. Which gives us a picture of the social and economic conditions and daily life in Greek and Roman Egypt. The village of Appianos was one of the largest estates in the district of Arsinoe (Faiyum). Hironinus kept the documents of that estate by virtue of his position as overseer or agent Frontestes (September 249 AD-268 AD), in an archive bearing his name. The personality of "Iskherion" was distinguished from other directors of the central administration; His job did not have a clear name, and he did not have any titles, but what is striking is the number of letters from him addressed to Hironinus, which numbered nineteen letters dating back to the third century AD and dated in the period (249-268 AD). Hence, this research will focus on trying to know his position and function, and the nature of the relationship between him and Hironinus.
