|a يرصد هذا البحث الأنماط الاجتماعية في مدينة الرياض خلال الفترة من عام 1351 ه/1932 م وحتى عام 1395 ه/1975 م، محاولا إلقاء الضوء على مكونات مجتمع مدينة الرياض، والتعرف على التركيبة السكانية داخل هذا المجتمع، والدور الذي أدته الهجرة الداخلية في هذه التركيبة، كذلك يبرز البحث أيضا التطور الاجتماعي والعمراني الذي شهدته المدينة آنذاك، راصدا الأسباب التي أدت إلى ذلك، كما يعرض لبعض عادات أهل الرياض، حيث يصف عادات سكان المدينة في مناسبات الأعياد والزواج، وأنماط التكافل الاجتماعي التي كانت شائعة بينهم، ليصل إلى نتيجة فحواها أن مدينة الرياض قد شهدت خلال هذه الفترة نهضة عمرانية واجتماعية جعلت منها أسرع المدن نموا واتساعا وتطورا.
|b This research intended to monitor the social patterns in the city of Riyadh during the period from 1351 AHL 1932 M to 1395 AHL 1975 M. It shall be trying to shed light on the components of the society of the city of Riyadh during such period, along with identifying the demographic structure within this society, and the role that internal migration played to form such structure. The research also highlights the social and urban development that the city witnessed at that time, monitoring the reasons that led to this. Further, the research shall present some of the habits of the people of Riyadh during the aforementioned period, as it describes the habits of the city's residents on the occasions of holidays and marriage, and the patterns of social solidarity that were common among them during that period. The research reached a conclusion that the city of Riyadh witnessed have during the aforementioned period an urban and social renaissance that made it the fastest growing, expanding and developing city.
