المستخلص: This paper examines the following: - Resolving a dispute in one of the controversial issues is achieved through detecting the correct opinion. - The wife's service at her husband's house is meant to be daily-routine tasks that a wife performs such as kneading, making bread, cooking, washing, cleaning and so forth. - Familial stability is one of the objectives of Islamic law which can be achieved on basis of respect, compassion, mutual understanding and cooperation among family members - The preponderant opinion on wife's service at her husband's, which is maintained by the Hanafis, Malikis, Ibn al-Qayim and others obligates the wife to serve her husband within the limits of the prevailing customs and within the limits of her own capacity - Islam adopted two strategies for attaining familial stability; the first one is to put the husband or the father in charge of the family's external affairs and the second is to put the wife in charge of managing the internal affairs of the house - The wife’s service to her husband, managing her household affairs and raising up the children is are among the most important reasons for achieving familial stability, matter which creates a healthy environment for living. This is because the wife is the cornerstone of the family who gathers and fulfills all the needs of all the family members.
