المستخلص: تتوافر معظم المقومات البشرية للتنمية الزراعية بشمال سيناء؛ حيث تقوم بدورها في توفير الغذاء للإنسان والحيوان معا مع إمكانية التوسع في المساحات المنزرعة، وتتمثل في حجم السكان وتوزيعهم وتركيبهم وخبرتهم، والطرق، والعمالة، والميكنة، ووسائل الري، ورأس المال، والطبيعة الحدودية للمنطقة. وتؤثر جميع هذه المدخلات بشكل أو بآخر في كمية الإنتاج وجودته لكنها تختلف فيما بينها من حيث درجة التأثير، وأمكن قياسه بالنسبة لحجم العمالة ووسائل الري ورأس المال وعدد ساعات العمل بالميكنة. وثمة علاقات طردية مؤكدة بين إنتاجية الفدان وهذه المدخلات على الترتيب. وتواجه التنمية الزراعية بشمال سيناء مشكلات؛ أهمها عدم وجود ميعاد مناسب للزراعة لاعتماد بعض المحاصيل على مياه الأمطار. ولا تتوافر التقاوي والأسمدة والمبيدات أحيانا، وعدم توفر مياه الري في مراحل حرجة من عمر المحصول. ويمكن مواجهتها من خلال إعادة دور التعاونيات الزراعية واستمرار تطوير مشروعات الري لتوفير المياه وتشجيع التعليم الزراعي وتوزيع الأراضي المستصلحة عليهم.

Most of the human components for agricultural development are available in North Sinai, as they play their role in providing food for humans and animals together with the possibility of expanding the cultivated areas, They are represented in the size of the population, its distribution, composition and experience, ways, employment, mechanization, means of irrigation, capital, and the border nature of the area. All of these inputs affect in one way or another the quantity and quality of production, but they differ among themselves in terms of the degree of influence, and it can be measured in relation to the volume of labor, irrigation means, capital and the number of working hours with mechanization, A positive direct relationship was found Between the productivity of an acre and these inputs, respectively. Agricultural development in North Sinai faces problems, the most important of which is the lack of a suitable date for planting because some crops depend on rain water, and seeds, fertilizers and pesticides are sometimes unavailable, and the unavailability of irrigation water at critical stages of the crop’s life. It can be confronted by restoring the role of agricultural cooperatives, continuing the development of irrigation projects to save water, encouraging agricultural education and distributing reclaimed lands to them.
