المستخلص: كان لشعر الزهد مكانة في نفوس المسلمين، وقد برع فيه العديد من الشعراء، منهم تابع التابعين الشاعر سابق البربري الذي امتاز شعره بكثرة الوعظ والحكم والأمثال، وبرع في استخدام الصور البيانية المختلفة، خاصة التشبيه الضمني المركب باستعارة تمثيلية؛ فتناولت الدراسة (التشبيه الضمني وعلاقته بالاستعارة التمثيلية: دراسة تطبيقية على شعر ابن عبد الله البربري)، وتظهر أهميتها في إبداع هذا التصوير البياني، وربطه بين فنين بيانيين، وتهدف إلى معالجة العلاقة بينهما وتبيين أهمية كل منهما للآخر وتأثيره فيه؛ فدرست التشبيه الضمني وعلاقته بالاستعارة التمثيلية نظريا وتاريخيا، وعرضت نماذج تحليلية لهذا التصوير البياني، ودرستها بلاغيًا في مبحثين مبنيين على موضوعات شعره في تصوير الدنيا وفنائها، والنفس الإنسانية وارتباطها بالدنيا وتأثرها بحوادث الدهر، وتصوير الموت، وشعره الأخلاقي والتعليمي، وخلصت بعدة نتائج، من أهمها: اعتماد الشاعر على الأمثال العربية، وابتكاره أمثالاً مشهورة عن طريق الاستعارة التمثيلية، واقترحت الدراسة تخصيص أسلوب الشاعر اللغوي والبلاغي مما له قيمته الدينية والجمالية للوقوف على أساليب بلاغية جديدة.

The poetry of asceticism had a place in the hearts of Muslims. Many poets excelled in it, from whom the poet Sabiq al-Barbari, whose poetry was distinguished by a lot of preaching, wisdom and proverbs, and he excelled in the use of various graphic images, especially the implicit simile with a representative metaphor. The study handles (Implicit Simile and Its Relationship to Metaphor: an Applied Study on the Poetry of Ibn Abdullah al-Barbari). The importance of the study lies in creating this graphic depiction, and linking it between graphic artists. It aims to address the relationship between them and to show the importance of each to the other and its impact on it. It studied the implicit simile and its relationship to the representative metaphor, theoretically and historically. The study presented analytical models for this graphic representation, and studied them rhetorically in two themes based on the themes of his poetry in depicting the world and its annihilation, the human soul and its connection to the world and its impact on the accidents of time, depicting death, as well as his moral and educational poetry. The study reached several results, the most important of which is the poet's dependence on Arabic proverbs, and his creation of famous proverbs through representative metaphor. The study suggested allocating the poet's linguistic and rhetorical style, which has its religious and aesthetic value, to find out new rhetorical methods.
