المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تصميم برنامج تعليمي مقترح قائم على تطبيقات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية وقياس فاعليته في تنمية الوعي بالقضايا المعاصرة للسكان لدى طالبات مسار العلوم الإنسانية بالمرحلة الثانوية في مدينة جدة. ولتحقيق ذلك؛ تم اختيار عينة عشوائية متيسرة بلغت (37) طالبة من مجتمع الدراسة في الفصل الدراسي الثاني 1443هـ (2022م)، كما تم اختيار خمسة طالبات من مجموعة الدراسة لإجراء دراسة الحالة بعد الحصول على موافقتهن للمشاركة. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج المختلط (المزيج) والذي تمثل في المنهج الكمي والمنهج النوعي لقياس فاعلية البرنامج. وجمعت بيانات الدراسة الكمية باستخدام مقياس الوعي للقضايا السكانية المعاصرة، وذلك بعد التأكد من قيم الصدق والثبات اللازمة، وأيضاً استخدمت ثلاث أدوات لجمع البيانات النوعية، وهي: أسئلة المقابلة شبه المقننة، ومذكرات الطالبات، والتأملات الصفية للطالبات. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة في جانبها الكمي؛ عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.01) بين متوسطي درجات مجموعة الدراسة في القياسين القبلي والبعدي للمتغير المعتمد لصالح القياس البعدي أيضاً كشفت النتائج عن تأثير كبير (مرتفع) للبرنامج في الوعي بالقضايا السكانية المعاصرة لدى العينة، حيث بلغ معامل التأثير (5,13). ووصلت نسبة معامل بلاك للكسب المعدل للمتغير المعتمد إلى (1.21)، مما يدل على فاعلية للبرنامج التعليمي في تنمية المتغير المعتمد. كما أكدت النتائج النوعية على الدور الرائد للبرنامج في الوعي بالقضايا السكانية المعاصرة لدى الطالبات لارتباطها بواقعهن الحالي، مما ساهم في جذب انتباه الطالبات وخلق دافعية قوية لديهن لتعلم موضوعات البرنامج. وبناءً على نتائج الدراسة؛ قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات من أبرزها أهمية استفادة وزارة التعليم السعودية من البرنامج وأدوات جمع البيانات في بناء منهج جغرافيا السكان بالمرحلة الثانوية. إضافة إلى ذلك طرحت مجموعة من المقترحات للدراسات المستقبلية ذات الصلة بموضوع الدراسة الحالية.

The study aimed for designing a proposed educational program based on the applications of geographic information systems and measuring its effectiveness in developing awareness of contemporary issues of the population among female students of the humanities track at the secondary stage in the city of Jeddah. To achieve this; An accessible random sample of (37) female students was selected from the study population in the second semester of 1443 AH (2022 AD), and five female students were selected from the study group to conduct a case study after obtaining their consent to participate. The study followed the mixed curriculum, which is represented in the quantitative approach and the qualitative approach to measure the effectiveness of the program. Quantitative study data were collected using the Consciousness Scale to Contemporary population issues, after confirming the necessary honesty and reliability values, three tools were also used to collect qualitative data, namely: semi-structured interview questions, students' notes, and class reflections. for female students. The results of the study revealed in its quantitative aspect; about the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.01) among the mean scores of the study group in the pre and post measurements of the approved variable in favor of the post-measurement. The results also revealed a significant (high) impact of the program in consciousness demographic issues contemporary in the sample, the impact factor was (5.13). The Black Coefficient of Adjusted Gain has reached for the dependent variable to (1,21), which indicates the effectiveness for the educational program in the development of for the dependent variable The qualitative results also confirmed the pioneering role of the program in awareness of contemporary population issues among the students, as they are related to their current reality, which contributed to attracting the attention of the students and creating a strong motivation for them to learn the topics of the program. Based on the results of the study; A set of recommendations were presented, most notably the importance of the Saudi Ministry of Education benefiting from the program and tools data collection in building Method Population Geography in High school. In addition, a set of proposals for future studies related to the subject of the current study were put forward.
