الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على خاتم المرسلين سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين وبعد؛ فإن دراسة المقاصد الشرعية والعلل من شرع الأحكام قد أخذ جانبا كبيرا في الدراسات الأصولية قديما وحديثا، ومما ثبت واستقر عليه المسلمون كافة أن الغاية العظمى من الشريعة الإسلامية الغراء تحصيل مصالح العباد وحفظها، ودفع المفاسد وتقليلها، فلا تجد حكما من أحكام الله إلا وهو جالب للمنافع أو درئ للمفاسد العاجلة أو الآجلة أو هما معا(1). ويُعد علم المقاصد من أجل العلوم وأقومها، فبه يفهم النص الشرعي، ويعلم مراد الله من خلقه، ذلك أن النصوص حمالة أوجه، والألفاظ والعبارات تحتمل أكثر من معني، والذي يرجح معني على آخر هو الإحاطة الشاملة للنص الشرعي، والعلم بمقاصد الشارع من شرعه للأحكام والإمام ولي الله الدهلوي ممن ضرب بسهم وافر في ميدان علم المقاصد يظهر ذلك جليا لمن يطالع كتابه "حجة الله البالغة"، فهو من كنوز العلم الذي ربط فيه صاحبه بين المقاصد الشرعية وفروعها الفقهية، فهو بحق نادر في بابه، مبتكر في موضوعه، رائع في أسلوبه، يتسم بصناعة العربية، وقوة العبارة، وسلامة المنطق ووضوح الحجة، ويشهد لمؤلفه بأنه أحد عمالقة الفكر الاسلامي، والعلوم العقلية. فلما سبق بيانه من أهمية ربط الأحكام بمقاصدها كان ذلك دافعا لاختيار هذا الموضوع ودراسته من خلال كلام الإمام ولي الله الدهلوي خاصة في كتابه "حجة الله البالغة" واستكمالا لمتطلبات الحصول على درجة التخصص (الماجستير).

Or ward off immediate or future harm, or both The science of purposes is considered one of the most important sciences, and through it, the legal text is understood, and God's will is known to His creation, because the texts bear aspects, and words and expressions bear more than one meaning, and the one that outweighs one meaning over another İs the comprehensive understanding of the legal text, and knowledge of the purposes of the Lawgiver from his law of rulings, And the imam, the guardian of God Al-Dahlawi, who struck an abundance of arrows in the field of the science of purposes, clearly shows this to anyone who reads his book, "The Great Proof of God." It is one of the treasures of knowledge in which its author linked between the legal purposes and their jurisprudential branches. His style is characterized by the art of Arabic, the power of phrase, the soundness of logic, and the clarity of argument, and attests to its author that he is one of the giants of Islamic thought and mental sciences. Since it was previously stated about the importance of linking rulings with their purposes, this was a motive for choosing this subject and studying it through the words of Imam Wali Allah Al-Dahlawi, especially in his book "The Great Proof of God", and to complete the requirements for obtaining a degree of specialization (Master's).
