|a ركز هذا البحث على موقف سنان أبو لحوم من قيام ثورة 1962 في الشطر الشمالي من اليمن، وعودته من عدن إلى صنعاء بوصفه أحد الشخصيات القبلية والقيادية التي وقفت إلى جانب الثورة. كما تناول البحث دور أبو لحوم في الدفاع عن النظام الجمهوري سواء كان ذلك بحنكته السياسية ومكانته القبلية التي استغلها في قيادة بعض المعارك الصغيرة أو في التفاوض مع القبائل وكسب ولائها إلى جانب النظام الجمهوري، فضلا عن دوره في التأثير على الموقف المصري بما يخدم مصلحة الثورة والنظام الجمهوري في الشطر الشمالي من اليمن.
|b This research focused on Sinan Abu Lahoum position on the 1962 revolution in the northern part of Yemen, and his return from Aden to Sana’a as one of the tribal and leadership figures who stood by the revolution. The research also dealt with the role of Abu Lahoum in defending the republican system, whether it was with his political acumen and tribal position, which he exploited in leading some small battles or in negotiating with the tribes and gaining their loyalty on the side of the republican system, as well as his role in influencing the Egyptian position in a way that serves the interest of the revolution and the regime.
