المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى التأطير النظري لظاهرة تأنيث الفقر، فضلاً عن تأشير تداعيات الأسباب المفسرة لفقر المرأة العراقية، إذ تعد قضية أو ظاهرة تأنيث الفقر من القضايا المهمة التي أضحت شاغلا من شواغل المهتمين بقضايا تمكين المرأة وسبل زيادة مشاركتهن الاقتصادية، فضلاً عن تحديد أدوار لاعبي التنمية المستدامة (الدولة والمنظمات الدولية) في الحد من تفاقم ظاهرة تأنيث الفقر، تكمن أهمية البحث في التعريف بأسباب ظاهرة تأنيث الفقر في العراق، وتحديد وتسمية آليات المواجهة والصد لفقر النساء في العراق وسبل تمكينها الاقتصادي، لذلك يفترض البحث " إن تردي الواقع الاقتصادي والاجتماعي المتأثر بعدم الاستقرار السياسي والاقتصادي أسهم في تعميق وتجذير ظاهرة تأنيث الفقر في العراق " ولتحقيق هذه الفرضية اتبع الباحثين الأسلوب الاستقرائي - التحليلي، ومن أهم الاستنتاجات التي توصل إليها الباحثين، هو انخفاض نسبة المشاركة الاقتصادية من قبل الإناث مقارنة بالذكور، وهذا ناجم عن مجموعة من العوامل منها انخفاض مستوى التعليم والمهارات وعدم مواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية، فضلاً عن القيود المجتمعية والثقافية التي أثرت بشكل كبير على نسبة مشاركتهن، وأوصى البحث إلى ضرورة تدريب وتأهيل كافة النساء الفقيرات على الأنشطة المدرة للدخل من أجل ضمان تمكينهن واكتسابهن مهارات جديدة.

The research aims to theoretically frame the phenomenon of the feminization of poverty, as well as pointing out the repercussions of the causes explaining the poverty of Iraqi women, as the issue or phenomenon of the feminization of poverty is one of the important issues that has become a concern of those interested in issues of empowering women and ways to increase their economic participation, as well as defining the roles of players in sustainable development. (State and international organizations) In reducing the aggravation of the phenomenon of feminization of poverty, the importance of research lies in defining the causes of the phenomenon of feminization of poverty in Iraq, and identifying and naming the mechanisms of confrontation and repelling the poverty of women in Iraq and ways of their economic empowerment. Therefore, the research assumes that "the deterioration of the economic and social reality affected by instability The political and economic contributed to the deepening and entrenchment of the phenomenon of feminization of poverty in Iraq. To achieve this hypothesis, the researchers followed the inductive-analytical method. One of the most important conclusions reached by the researchers is the low rate of economic participation by females compared to males. Education, skills, and not keeping pace with technological developments, as well as societal and cultural constraints that greatly affected their participation rate. The research recommended the need to train and qualify all poor women on income generating activities in order to ensure their empowerment and acquisition of new skills.
