المستخلص: تهدف هذه الورقة إلى دراسة دور الأمراء النوبيين الذين حبسهم الممالك بسجن القلعة بالقاهرة في أسلمة مملكة مقرة، ثم انتشار الإسلام في السودان، هذه الدراسة عبارة عن محاولة لدراسة الأسباب التي أدت إلى سجن هؤلاء الأمراء النوبيين بالقاهرة، وكيف تدخل المماليك إلى هذا الحد في شؤون مملكة مقرة المسيحية. قسمت الورقة إلى عدة محاور: النوبة والمماليك، الأمراء النوبيون في البلاط المملوكي، النوبة بعد الأمير شكندة، تنصيب الأمير داوود، الأمير سيف الدين عبد الله برشمبو. حجة الدراسة: تقوم هذه الدراسة على الحجة الأتية: ما هو الأثر الذي نتج عن سجن الأمراء النوبيين المسيحيين بسجن القلعة بالقاهرة، وما هي النتائج التي ترتبت على ذلك، ثم دراسة التغيير الذي حدث بعد تنصيب هؤلاء الأمراء ملوكا على مملكة مقرة. نتائج الدراسة: من النتائج التي توصلت إليها هذه الدراسة، أن المماليك استغلوا ضعف ملوك مقرة وفرضوا هيمنتهم عليها، نتج عن هذا الوضع أن صار المماليك يعزلون ملوك مقرة المسيحيين ويعينون الأمراء النوبيون المسلمون، ومن النتائج المهمة أيضا؛ الدور الحاسم الذي لعبه هؤلاء الأمراء في أسلمة مملكة مقرة. أسئلة الدراسة: ما هي طبيعة العلاقات بين مملكة مقرة والمماليك بمصر؟ كيف تحكم المماليك في شؤون مملكة مقرة؟ كيف تم سجن الأمراء النوبيين في القاهرة؟ ثم كيف لعب الأمراء النوبيون الذين كانوا محبوسون بسجن القلعة بالقاهرة في أسلمة مملكة مقره المسيحية؟ وما هي النتائج المترتبة على ذلك؟ منهج الدراسة: تتبع هذه الدراسة المنهج التاريخي التحليلي الذي يقوم على جمع المعلومات من مصادرها الأولية والثانوية ومن ثم تحليلها.

This paper aims to study the role of the Nubian princes who were imprisoned by the Mamluks in the Citadel prison in Cairo in the Islamization of the Kingdom of Makuria, and then the spread of Islam in Sudan. This study is an attempt to study the reasons that led to the imprisonment of these Nubian princes in Cairo, and how the Mamluks interfered to this extent in the affairs of the Kingdom of Makuria. The paper was divided into several parts: Nubia and the Mamluks, Nubian princes in the Mamluk court, Nubia after Prince Shakanda, the installation of Prince Daoud, Prince Saif al Din Abdullah Barshambo. The argument of the study: This study is based on the following argument: What is the impact that resulted from the imprisonment of the Christian Nubian princes in the Citadel Prison in Cairo, and what are the results that resulted from that, then studying the change that occurred after the installation of these princes as kings of the Kingdom of Makuria. Results of the study: Among the findings of this study is that the Mamluks took advantage of the weakness of the kings of Makuria and imposed their hegemony on it. This situation resulted in the Mamluks deposing the Christian kings of Makuria and appointing Muslim Nubian princes. Another important finding is: the decisive role that these princes played in Islamization Kingdom of Makuria. Study questions: What is the nature of the relations between the Kingdom of Muquria and the Mamluks in Egypt? How did the Mamluks control the affairs of the Kingdom of Mukria? How were the Nubian princes imprisoned in Cairo? Then how did the Nubian princes who were imprisoned in the citadel prison in Cairo play in the Islamization of the Christian kingdom of Makuria? What are the consequences of that? Study Methodology: This study follows the historical and analytical approach, which is based on collecting information from primary and secondary sources and then analyzing it.
