المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع الانتقاء الرياضي الخاصة بالمواهب الشابة في اختصاص سباقات النصف الطويلة في ألعاب القوى من وجهة نظر المدربين، ومن أجل ذلك قمنا بدراسة وصفية بالأسلوب المسحي أجريت على مجموعة من مدربي الاختصاص، ولتحقق من مشكلة البحث قمنا بتقسيم استمارة استبيانية مكونة من ثلاثة محاور بعد إخضاعها للإجراءات العلمية، وذلك على عينة بلغ عددها (40) مدرب ومختص ينشطون في مختلف المستويات بحيث تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية، وبعد عمليتي التفريغ والمعالجة الإحصائية باستعمال اختبار حسن المطابقة توصلنا إلى أن الاختبارات المطبقة غير موحدة بين المدربين في ألعاب القوى، وبالتالي غياب في الجزائر نظام منهجي خاص بانتقاء وتعريف بخصائص المواهب الشابة استنادا إلى تقييم إمكانات البيولوجية والبدنية والمورفووظيفية من أجل التحديد الأمثل لبطل المستقبل والتعرف على معايير الأكثر دلالة للتنبؤ بالنجاح الرياضي، ولقد أوصى الباحثان بضرورة اهتمام المدربين بالقياسات المورفووظائفية واعتبارها محددات أساسية عند استعمال عملية الانتقاء.

The aim of this study was to determine reality of the selection young middle-distance talents in athletics and for that, we conducted a descriptive survey research a group coaches (40) trainers chosen randomly and after two processes of discharge and statistical treatment using the test of good conformity, we concluded that the problem with tests that are not standardized between Athletic Trainers, due to the absence in Algeria of a methodology for systematically organizing selection and defining the characteristics of youth sports talent based on the evaluation of the biological, physical and morphofunctional capabilities in order to optimally identify the future champion and identify on the most indicative criteria for predicting athletic success, the researcher recommended the need for coaches to pay attention to morphofunctional measurements and consider them as basic determinants when using the selection talent process steps.

L’objectif de cette étude est de déterminer la réalité de la sélection des jeunes talents de demi-fond en athlétisme. Pour atteindre cet objectif, nous avons mené une enquête descriptive auprès de (40) entraîneurs choisis au hasard. Nous avons conclu que le problème des tests non standardisés entre les entraîneurs sportifs, est dû à l'absence en Algérie d'une méthodologie systématique pour sélectionner et définir les caractéristiques des jeunes talents sportifs basée sur l'évaluation des capacités biologiques, physiques et morphofonctionnelles. Afin d'identifier de manière optimale le futur champion et de déterminer les critères les plus pertinents à utiliser pour prédire le succès sportif, nous avons recommandé la nécessité pour les entraîneurs de prendre en considération les mesures morphofonctionnelles t comme des déterminants de base lors de l'utilisation des étapes du processus de sélection des talents.
