المستخلص: يهدف هذا المقال إلى معرفة وإبراز صورة الآخر للصحافي البولندي ريشارد كابوشينسكي في كتابه «السفر مع هيرودوت» (2005). الفرصة التي سمحت للصحافي البولندي بسفر إلى ما وراء الاتحاد السوفياتي كانت بفضل عمله كصحافي في وكالة الأنباء البولندية.

After working as journalist in Polish Press Agency (PAP), Ryszard Kapuściński had the opportunity to travel in different countries around the world. It was his first experience outside the Soviet Bloc. The story, whose title (Traveling with Herodotus), is inspired by Herodotus’ Stories shows the encounter with the other as well as in the work of the Greek historian. The image of the other is represented in different ways by the Polish journalist, since he had traveled to different countries meeting various peoples and cultures. The present article aims to analyze the representation of the image of the other in Ryszard Kapuścińskis story in “viaggio con Erodoto” (2005).

Après avoir travaillé comme journaliste à l’Agence de presse polonaise (PAP), Ryszard Kapuściński a eu l’opportunité de voyager a travers le monde. C’était sa première expérience en dehors du bloc soviétique. Le récit, dont le titre (Voyager avec Hérodote), est inspiré des Récits d’Hérodote met en scène la rencontre avec l’autre, du même que dans l’oeuvre de l’historien grec. L’image de l’autre est représentée de différentes manières par le journaliste polonais puisqu’il a voyagé dans différents pays pour rencontrer d’autres peuples et cultures. Le présent article vise à analyser la représentation de l’image de l’autre dans le récit de Ryszard Kapuścińskis « viaggio con Erodoto » (2005).
