المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى بيان واقع إدارات التعليم في المملكة العربية السعودية والتعرف آليات عمل وتطوير أداء مديري التعليم وكذلك بيان دور التفكير الاستراتيجي في تطوير الإدارات التعليمية بالمملكة، وتمخضت مشكلة البحث في بيان واقع إدارات التعليم في المملكة العربية السعودية وبيان آليات عمل وتطوير أداء مديري التعليم وضرورة الوقوف على التفكير الاستراتيجي ودوره في تطوير الإدارات التعليمية بالمملكة، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والذي يتم من خلاله وصف الحقائق والظروف الراهنة الخاصة بطبيعة المشكلة، وجمع البيانات وتنظيمها وتصنيفها وتحليلها بدقة، وانتهت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها فيما يتعلق بواقع إدارات التعليم في المملكة العربية السعودية، فقد جاء المتوسط الحسابي لهذا البعد بنسبة (4.72)، وطبقا للمتوسطات الحسابية التي حصلت عليها عبارات المؤشر في الاستبيان كانت عبارة "تتبنى إدارات التعليم النظام التشاركي في الإدارة والإشراف" وعبارة "تتيح الإدارة فرص الاتصال مع الموظفين في كافة المستويات" بمركز متقدم بمتوسط حسابي (4.88)، وفيما يتعلق بآليات عمل وتطوير أداء مديري التعليم، فقد جاء المتوسط الحسابي لهذا البعد بنسبة (4.52)، مما يعني أن تدريب المديرين على الإدارة الإلكترونية فعال حيث جاء بمتوسط حسابي (4.64)، وفيما يتعلق بالتفكير الاستراتيجي ودوره في تطوير الإدارات التعليمية بالمملكة، فقد جاء المتوسط الحسابي لهذا البعد بنسبة (4.57)، وطبقا للمتوسطات الحسابية وفق استمارة الاستبيان فإن التفكير الاستراتيجي يساعد المديرين على دمج الأفكار المطروحة في فكرة مبدعة بمتوسط حسابي (4.83)، وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة عمل دراسات وندوات وورش عمل ولقاءات علمية لتدارك الخلل الكبير في موضوع البحث لبحث آلية عمل مؤتمرات تناقش هذا الموضوع الهام بأكثر من ورقة علمية.

The research aimed to explain the reality of education departments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to identify the mechanisms of work and development of the performance of education directors, as well as to explain the role of strategic thinking in developing educational departments in the Kingdom. The research problem resulted in a statement of the reality of education departments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and an explanation of the work mechanisms and development of the performance of education directors and the necessity of standing The study focused on strategic thinking and its role in developing educational departments in the Kingdom. The study used the descriptive and analytical approach, through which the facts and current circumstances related to the nature of the problem are described, and data is collected, organized, classified and analyzed accurately. The study concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are regarding the reality of education departments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The arithmetic mean for this dimension was 4.72 and according to the arithmetic averages obtained for the indicator phrases in the questionnaire, the phrase “Education departments adopt a participatory system in management and supervision” and the phrase “The administration provides opportunities for communication with employees at all levels” were in an advanced position with an arithmetic mean. 4.88 and with regard to the mechanisms of work and development of the performance of education managers, the arithmetic average for this dimension was 4.52 which means that training managers on electronic management is effective, as it came with an arithmetic average of 4.64 and with regard to strategic thinking and its role in developing educational departments In the Kingdom, the arithmetic average for this dimension was 4.75 and according to the arithmetic averages according to the questionnaire, strategic thinking helps managers integrate the ideas presented into a creative idea with an arithmetic average of 4.83 The study recommended the necessity of conducting studies, seminars, workshops, and scientific meetings to correct the imbalance. The major research topic to discuss the working mechanism of conferences discusses this important topic with more than one scientific paper.
