المستخلص: Our Arab manuscript heritage is unparalleled in any language, neither in its size, nor in its age, nor in its country, nor in its intellectual richness. Despite the destruction, destruction, damage, and loss that befell this heritage due to external invasion at times and internal disturbances at other times, whether political, religious, or economic, despite that, we have Arabic manuscripts estimated at millions, preserved by hundreds or even thousands of libraries in the East and West. This numerical magnitude is due to the fact that the Arabic language that we speak and write in now is the same language that the Arabs spoke in the pre-Islamic era more than sixteen centuries ago. One language that has preserved its grammar, morphology, derivations, spelling, and semantics over those centuries.
