|b Among the Algerian non publicized personalities, doctor Mustapha Makaci, physician at the Algerian liberation army, is one of the founders of the Algerian Red Crescent and its first secretary general in 1957. His experience during the establishment and development of the Algerian Red Crescent was not brought to the attention of the national opinion until after he published his testimony entitled «Algerian Red Crescent –testimony» in 2007, and since then until the end of his days, Dr Mustapha makaci devotes his career in various works mainly in the field of the history of Medicine. On February 28, 2019, moudjahid and doctor Makaci died at the age of 96. This article traces the course of the moudjahid (combatant) Mustapha Makaci as well as his positions towards the French colonialism as an intellectual person and combatant of the Algerian national liberation war. After the independence, the doctor dedicated himself to his passion of healing Algerians leaving aside the positions of responsibility that were offered to him. At the same time, he makes his first steps in writing books about medicine and the history of medicine.
|d Parmi les personnalités algériennes non médiatisées, le docteur Mustapha Makaci médecin de l’Armée de Libération Nationale, un des fondateurs du croissant rouge algérien et son premier secrétaire général en 1957. Son expérience vécue au cours de la création et du développement du croissant Rouge Algérien n’a jamais été porté à la connaissance de l’opinion national qu’après avoir publier son témoignage intitulé « Le Croissant Rouge Algérien –Témoignage » en 2007 et depuis jusqu’à la fin de ses jours le docteur Mustapha Makaci c’est consacrer à retracer son parcours dans des ouvrages diversifies portant surtout sur le domaine de l’histoire de la médecine. Cet article retrace le parcours du moudjahid Mustapha Makaci ainsi que ses positions vis-à-vis du colonialisme français en tant-qu’intellectuel et combattant de la Guerre de Libération Nationale algérienne. Après l’indépendance, le docteur s’est consacré à sa passion de soigner les Algériens, laissant de côté les postes de responsabilité qui lui ont été proposés, en même temps il fait ses premiers pas dans l’écriture, le 28 février 2019 le moudjahid et docteur Makaci c’est éteint a l’âge de 96 ans.
