|b This study aims to highlight the role of solar photovoltaic energy in reducing carbon dioxide emissions, as the descriptive and analytical approach was relied upon. Carbon dioxide emissions recorded a rapid increase during the period 1990-2022, and the countries of the world have concluded several international agreements regarding reducing them and keeping the earth’s temperature below 1.5° C. which contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
