|a شهدت الأعمال التلفزيونية منذ بدايتها ونشوئها مع بدايات انتشار التلفاز كجهاز منزلي في بيوتات المواطنين استخدام اللهجات المحلية محل اللغة العربية الفصيحة، وباتت كل دولة من دول الوطن العربي تضخ إنتاجها بلهجتها المحلية، إلا أن الأعمال التاريخية كانت تنحو منحا مغايرا من خلال استخدام اللغة العربية الفصحى في سيناريوهاتها، إلا أن المتتبع اليوم لبرامج التلفزيون ولاسيما الأعمال الدرامية باتت كلها تنتهج المنهج العامي في إدارة الحوار بين شخوص العمل الدرامي، حتى باتت اللغة العربية الفصحى غريبة في مواطنها، وباتت لا تستخدم إلا في البرامج الإخبارية والحوارات المتلفزة مما افقدها جانب مهم من مصادر انتشارها لدى الجمهور. يعرض البحث الأسباب والنتائج التي تتعلق بانحسار استخدام اللغة العربية الفصحى في الأعمال الدرامية كما قدم الحلول كما يرتئيها الباحث وفق ما توصل إليه من خلال الدراسات التي عرضت لهذا الموضوع.
