|a يتسم مبدأ الوضوح في النصوص القانونية بأهمية كبيرة، كون هذه النصوص عندما تكون واضحة وسهلة ومفهومة للمخاطبين بها، من شأنها أن تؤدي إلى تحقيق الأمن القانوني لدى المخاطبين بها، لأن الغموض في النصوص التشريعية يسهم في كثرة التفسير والتأويل، ومن ثم يزعزع الثقة المشروعة للأفراد في الدولة وقوانينها التي تصدرها السلطة التشريعية، لذلك يجب أن تكون النصوص واضحة من حيث دقة الصياغة القانونية واللغوية واستعمال الألفاظ في موضعها الصحيح، أي أن تكون الكلمات والعبارات المستخدمة في النص التشريعي واضحة وتعبر عن المقصود بسهولة.
