Handball is one of the most important sports that has received great attention from various specialists in the field of sports and that this game is taught in various international universities with its various skills and that the role of handball teachers lies in transferring these skills to students and providing them with access to the implementation of these skills accurately and perfectly, and this needs to be a teachers The game of handball has extensive cognitive abilities and potential, one of which is the self-governing value, which has any creativity, cognitive and skill abilities, and that he can realize all the details of the implementation, i.e. high cognitive competencies in each part of the skills in the game of handball. Therefore, the aim of the research is to: 1-Identify the reality of self-evaluated wisdom for handball teachers from the point of view of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences- University of Babylon. 2-Identifying the reality of the perceived competencies of handball teachers from the point of view of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences- University of Babylon. 3-Identify the relationship between self evaluated wisdom and the perceived 4- competencies of handball teachers from the point of view of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences- University of Babylon. The study was conducted on a sample of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences- University of Babylon for the academic year 2022-2023, which numbered (585) students distributed over three stages of study, while the research sample consisted of (376) students and by (64.27%) ofthe total population, selected by random stratified method. The main experiment was conducted, the results were analyzed, and the relationship between self-assessed wisdom and the perceived competencies of handball teachers was found from the point of view of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Babylon.
