Between the "success stories" and the high mortality rates that characterize the startups, this article raises the issue of startup management. The article defends the hypothesis that the "Lean startup" methodology has an important role in the management of startups, and a salutary contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in Algeria. For that, the article analyzes the contributions and limitations of the "Lean startup" method. Then it analyzes the appropriateness of using this method to manage startups in Algeria. The article's conclusions confirm that the main pillars of the national entrepreneurial framework have been put in place, and that those involved, especially the state actors, are committed to the process. As well as the contribution of the "Lean startup" methodology, despite certain reservations. Finally, the article concludes that a certain number of conditions must be met before the method can be applied in Algeria.
