المستخلص: This study aims to explain the emergence and development of Arab and British drama and theatre. Drama whether television or theatre, has an impact in expressing societal issues. Drama enhances social interaction and communication individuals. Theatre is a mirror that reflects the features of society, and contributes to shaping the awareness and thought of its members by drawing human characters that identify with their world, feeling and expressed or repressed thoughts. Theatre has been present in people's lives over the years. But its purpose was not entertainment for human societies, but rather it expended to objectives that included various aspects of human, religious , cultural, economic, and even political life.
