|a تعتبر محافظة سوهاج من أهم محافظات الجمهورية المنتجة للبصل حيث بلغت مساحتها المزروعة من البصل الشتوي حوالي 14.382 ألف فدان تمثل حوالي ٧,٩٦% من متوسط المساحة المزروعة على مستوى الجمهورية والبالغة 180595 فدان ومن ثم فإن دراسة محصول البصل الشتوي في محافظة سوهاج أمر ذو أهمية حيث أن محافظة سوهاج من المحافظات الزراعية التي لها ميزة نسبية في إنتاج محصول البصل الشتوي من حيث ارتفاع صافي العائد الفداني منه مقارنة بنظيره من المحاصيل المنافسة له على الموارد الأرضية. إلا أنه لوحظ أن المساحة المزروعة منه لا تتناسب مع تلك الميزة النسبية، ويهدف البحث إلى دراسة المؤشرات الإنتاجية والاقتصادية وكذلك دراسة أهم بنود التكاليف وتحديد العوامل المؤثرة على إنتاج محصول البصل الشتوي في محافظة سوهاج من خلال التقدير القياسي لدوال إنتاج محصول البصل لعينه من مزارعي محصول البصل الشتوي بمحافظة سوهاج خلال الموسم الزراعي لعام ۲۰۱۹، وجاءت النتائج بأن الحجم الأمثل للإنتاج المعظم للأرباح بالنسبة للفدان وهو 23.8 طن تقريبا للفدان وأن الحجم المحقق لأقل كلفة إنتاجية متوسطة قد بلغ نحو 19.5 طن وان مرونة التكاليف الكلية قد بلغت نحو ٠,٩٦ وذلك يؤكد على أن إنتاج محصول البصل في محافظة سوهاج يتم في المرحلة الأولى من قانون تناقص الغلة وهو ما يتفق مع دالة الإنتاج المقدرة لهذا المحصول.
|b The Winter Onion Crop is one of the main vegetable crops in Egypt. It comes in second place after tomato in terms of area and allocation of human consumption as well as its uses in feeding human direct and their uses in many different industries. In general. the research targeted shed light on the economics of Winter Winter Onion Crop. as well as Production. Cultivated area. Productivity. costs. prices. Total income per feddan. Net incom per feddan and the research adopted two types of data. the first type. a secondary data was obtained from bulletins of the agricultural economics research institute of Ministry of Agriculture. Ministry of Agriculture. And records of Department of Agricultural Statistics Department of Agriculture in Sohag and the primary data were obtained by selecting a random sample stratified on stages in the growing season of 2018 of 100 farmers. with an feddan planted with Winter Onion Crop in Sohag. the villages have been selected within each districts according to the concentration of area which was planted with Winter Onion Crop. as well as the number of winners in every village. Through studying the results of the analysis of the general time trend of the productive indicators of the Winter Onion crop. it was found that there was a statistically significant annual increase at the level of significant 1% in the area planted with the Winter Onion crop estimated at 162.20 feddan.s equivalent to about 1.15% of the general average area planted with the crop. which amounted to 14089 feddan.s As well as the average feddan. productivity. through the results of the analysis of the general time trend. it was found that there was a statistically insignificant decrease. and the results of the analysis of the general time trend showed that there is an annual statistically significant increase in the total production estimated at about 2596.23 tons equivalent to about 1.04% of the general average For kidney production In Sohag. which is estimated at 248016 tons during the period under study. And by studying the economic indicators of the Winter Onion crop in Sohag Governorate during the study period. It was found that the farm price takes an increasing annual trend. statistically significant at a level of significance 0.01. amounted to about 87.87 pounds per ton. representing about 8.86% of the annual average price of the referred farm. and that the over all time trend of the evolution of the total yield of Winter Onion s in Sohag Governorate during a period The study has taken a growing general trend annually. statistically significant at 0.01 reached about 1406.67 pounds per feddan. By estimating the general time trend of the development of the total costs of the Winter Onion crop in Sohag Governorate during the study period. it was found that the total costs took an increasing annual general trend of statistically significant at 0.01 at about 499.83 pounds per feddan..

By studying the function of production costs per feddan. of Winter Onion crop at the level of Sohag Governorate. the cubic image has been taken. and the statistical significance of the parameters of the function has been proven at the level of significance 0.05 in the quadratic image and at the level of significance 0.01 in the cubic image. and the value of the determination coefficient (0.94) The ability of the indicator to show that fluctuations in the volume of production are responsible about (94%) of the total fluctuations in costs. and that the optimum size for the greatest profits production per feddan. is approximately 23.8 tons per feddan. and that the achieved size for the lowest average production cost has reached about 19. 5 tons. and the total cost elasticity has reached about 0.96. this confirms N Winter Onion crop production in Sohag province is in the first phase of the law of diminishing returns. which is consistent with the estimated production function of this crop. The results of the analysis of the agricultural policy matrix analysis for winter onion crops showed that the nominal protection Coefficient of Outputs (NBCO) was estimated at 0.66. which shows the state by imposing direct and indirect taxes on the product and a level of consumer support. and that the nominal protection Coefficient for requirements (production requirements)NPCI. was estimated at 0.60 and this indicates The presence of support for requirements. and the effective protection coefficient(EPC) was estimated at 0.66 and this indicates the presence of implicit taxes on onion crop producers. in other words. the lower value of onion assets at local prices than their global counterparts. and there are also relative proportions of winter onion crop cultivation where the comparative advantage factor is less than one. The nature of production and marketing problems facing Winter Onion farmers in Sohag Governorate has been highlighted.

|b Recommendations: -A fair price per ton of Winter Onion with the increase in its production costs. as the price of a ton of Winter Onion is one of the most important factors affecting the net agricultural yield. and therefore on the area planted next year. - Ensure that the pesticides are valid and fully supervised by specialists at the Ministry of Agriculture. -Availability of production requirements in sufficient quantities. in good condition. at reasonable prices. and with appropriate dates. -Increasing the effectiveness of agricultural cooperatives in marketing the crop. As well as the work of agricultural gatherings and unifying the area of Winter Onion s. in order to replace mechanization with human labor due to its low price. -Create a fund to balance Winter Onion prices or contract the crop through private export companies. -Rationalizing the use of nitrogen fertilizers. as the study demonstrated that there is excessive use of this element.
