520 |a تتناول الدراسة، وصفا لأحد علماء الجزائر للمجتمع القسنطيني وما جاورها خلال القرن الثاني عشر الهجري/ 18م، وتبرز الدراسة أهمية كتب الرحلات في كتابة التاريخ المحلي. فالشيخ الحسين الورثيراني (الورثيلاني)، وصف في رحلته مجتمع مدينة قسنطينة وما جاورها أثناء عودته من رحلته الحجازية الثالثة ومروره على المدينة. فسجل الأوضاع التي كان عليها المجتمع المحلي خاصة. وهي الأوضاع التي كانت سائدة في جل المدن الجزائرية عامة.  |b The study deals with a description of one of the Algerian scholars of the Constantinian society and its surroundings during the twelfth century AH/ 18 AD, and the study highlights the importance of travel books in writing local history. Sheikh Al-Hussein Al-Wathirani (Al-Wartilani), described in his journey the society of the city of Constantine and its surroundings during his return from his third Hijazi journey and his passage to the city. Record the conditions in which the local community in particular. This situation prevailed in most Algerian cities in general. The Worthelian journey is among the important local sources that can be relied upon in the historical reconstruction of modern Algerian society.  |d Cette étude met en évidence l'importance des livres de voyage dans l'écriture de l'histoire lo-cale des différentes régions, car elle traite de la description des différents aspects dans lesquels vit l'individu algérien, qu'ils soient culturels, religieux, sociaux, intellectuels... D'une manière qui reflète la réalité vécue à l'époque où la visite a eu lieu, parmi ceux qui ont écrit sur la vie sociale dans la ville de Constantine se trouvait Cheikh Al-Hussein Al-Warthirani (Al-Wartilani), qui a décrit dans son voyage la société de cette ville, et certaines de ses villes voisines lors de son retour de son troisième voyage hijazi. Warthrani a enregistré les conditions de la société algérienne en général, et de la communauté locale en particulier, qu'il s'agisse de coutumes, de traditions ou de croyances... Ces situations ne sont pas différentes des autres villes algériennes à ce stade historique. Cependant, cette description de ce voyage se distingue par le fait qu'il a été écrit par un Algérien, un écrivain qui a parcouru le monde islamique et a été introduit dans les sociétés musulmanes levantines. De tels écrits aident les chercheurs à reconstruire la société algérienne à l'époque moderne, dominée par les écrits d'Europe occidentale.
