المستخلص: عرض هذا البحث لموضوع العلاقة بين التراث واللسانيات. فاللسانيات التي دخلت درسنا اللغوي منذ منتصف القرن العشرين بعثت في هذا الدرس اتجاهات مختلفة، مع نزوع إلى نقد التراث الذي مثلته علوم اللغة عندنا، ولا سيما النحو. وقد جرت محاولات عديدة لنقض النحو، وإحلال شيء جديد محله بدعوى تعقيده وعدم صلاحه للعربية الحديثة. ولا شك في أن التعريف باللسانيات كان مصحوبا غالبا بفكرة ترى في اللسانيات علما عالميا ينبغي أخذه بالقبول والتسليم، والحرص على احتذائه كما هو. لكن مسيرة هذا العلم في ثقافتنا الجديدة لم تسفر عن الوصول إلى علوم بديلة تحل محل علومنا اللغوية الموروثة، مع كثرة المصطلحات والآراء المختلفة والنماذج المتعددة. وينبغي التنبيه على ضرورة استثمار اللسانيات بوصفها رافدا لعلومنا يسهم في تحديثها، من غير إلغاء لاستقلالها وتميزها. ولا شك في مبلغ الفائدة التي يجنيها درسنا إذا صحت العلاقة بين التراث واللسانيات، وتخلصت من آفات التعصب، وادعاء الصواب.

This research presented the topic of the relationship between heritage and linguistics. Linguistics, which has entered our linguistic study since the middle of the twentieth century, has inspired different trends in this lesson, with a tendency to criticize the heritage represented by our linguistic sciences, especially grammar. Many attempts have been made to overturn grammar and replace it with something new, claiming that it is complicated and unsuitable for modern Arabic. There is no doubt that the introduction to linguistics was often accompanied by an idea that viewed linguistics as a universal science that should be accepted and recognized, and one should strive to emulate it as it is. But the path of this science in our new culture did not lead to the arrival of alternative sciences to replace our inherited linguistic sciences, with the abundance of terminology, different opinions, and multiple models. Attention should be paid to the necessity of investing in linguistics as a tributary to our science that contributes to its modernization, without canceling its independence and distinctiveness. There is no doubt about the amount of benefit that our lesson will reap if the relationship between heritage and linguistics is correct, and gets rid of the scourges of fanaticism and the claim of correctness.
