استهدف البحث التعرف على مدى الوعى بالتربية الترويحية لدى تلاميذ المدارس الثانوية في محافظة الجيزة، استخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته لتحقيق هدف البحث وطبيعة إجراءاته، وتم تطبيق البحث على عينة من طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة الجيزة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العمدية، وقد استخدم الباحث استبيان لجمع بيانات البحث، ومن أهم النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين المتوسط الحسابي للذكور والمتوسط الحسابي للإناث وفقا لمتغير نوع الجنس في محاور (مفهوم التربية الترويحية، أهداف التربية الترويحية، أهمية التربية الترويحية، الأنشطة الترويحية "الترويح الاجتماعي") ومجموع استبيان الوعى بالتربية الترويحية لدى تلاميذ المدارس الثانوية لصالح عينة البحث من الذكور. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين في أبعاد ومحاور استبيان الوعي بالتربية الترويحية لدى تلاميذ المدارس الثانوية وفقا للإدارة التعليمية، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الصفوف الدراسية للمرحلة الثانوية لعينة البحث في أبعاد ومحاور ومجموع استبيان الوعي بالتربية الترويحية لدى تلاميذ المدارس الثانوية، وتوجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين في أبعاد ومحاور استبيان الوعي بالتربية الترويحية لدى تلاميذ المدارس الثانوية وفقا للصف الدراسي
The research aimed to identify the extent of awareness of recreational education among secondary school students in public schools in Giza Governorate. The researchers used the descriptive approach, and the research was applied to a sample of secondary school students in Giza Governorate who were selected intentionally. The researcher used a questionnaire to collect research data. It is one of the most important results found that there were statistically significant differences between the arithmetic mean for males and the arithmetic mean for females according to the gender variable in the axes (the concept of recreational education, the goals of recreational education, the importance of recreational education, recreational activities "social recreation") and the total questionnaire of awareness of recreational education among secondary school students.
