المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى تباين علاقة الإلقاء بالإصغاء، وما مدى دور كل منهما في الآخر، والوقوف عند أهمية الإلقاء وكذلك الإصغاء والتأكيد على أن الإلقاء قدرة وثقافة وفكر وفن، وكذلك الإصغاء، فإنه فن وسمة حضارية تميز أصحابها بالرقي والاستجابة والتفاعل والتواصل. وتبين الدراسة أن الإلقاء والإصغاء وجهان لعملة واحدة ويسعيان إلى بناء الكفاءات والقدرات وإحداث التغيرات التي تؤدي إلى التواصل وتسهم في التشاركية والنماء. وحاولت إثبات أهمية الإلقاء في تميز مضمونه وطريقة أدائه وتفوق مُلقِيه، وكيف ينعكس ذلك على المتلقين بحسن إصغائهم. وتم اختيار خطاب جلالة الملك (حفظه الله) عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين للأسرة الأردنية أنموذجاً يحقق هدف الدراسة. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج التحليلي لما يتيحه من فرصة لتحليل علاقة الإلقاء بالإصغاء، وتحليل الخطاب الملكي السامي. وأظهرت الدراسة العلاقة التفاعلية بين الإلقاء والإصغاء، وكيف تُسهم هذه العلاقة في التطور والتواصل والنماء.

The study aims to vary the relationship of given a talk with listening, and the extent of the role each of which affects the other. It also stands at the importance of giving a talk as well as listening. It emphasizes that the former is diction ability, culture, thought and art, while the latter is an art and a civilized feature that distinguishes its owners with honor, response, interaction and communication. The study shows that giving a talk and listening are two sides of the same coin and seeks to build competencies and capacities which in turn brings about changes that lead to communication and contribute to participation and development. I tried to prove the importance of the speech in the excellence of its content, the way it is performed, the superiority of the speaker, and how this is reflected on the recipients with good listening. His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein's speech to the Jordanian family was chosen as a model to achieve the objective of the study. The study followed the analytical method because of its ability to analyze the relationship between recitation and listening, and to analyze the royal speech. The study shows the interactive relationship between giving a talk and listening, and the way this relationship matters in development, communication and flourishment.
