المستخلص: يعالج هذا البحث قضية الترادف بين التعبيرات الاصطلاحية في روايات توفيق الحكيم، وتمت معالجة التعبيرات الاصطلاحية في الروايات وفقا لنظرية المجالات الدلالية، حيث جاءت في مجالات خمسة هي: صفات الإنسان (خلقية وخلقية) ونشاط الإنسان (جسمي/ حسي/ نفسي/ عقلي) وعلاقات الإنسان (إيجابية/ سلبية) والأحداث والموجودات، وتم دراسة ظاهرة الترادف داخل هذه المجالات، مع تحديد التعبيرات الاصطلاحية التي تنتمي إليها، وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن التعبيرات الاصطلاحية التي تخضع للترادف في الروايات والوقوف على نسبة شيوع الترادف فيها. وتتبع الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي الذي يتم من خلاله استقراء التعبيرات الاصطلاحية في الروايات وتصنيفها وفقا لنظرية المجالات الدلالية ثم تحليل العلاقات الدلالية القائمة بينها من أجل الوقوف على التعبيرات التي ينطبق عليها الترادف داخل كل مجال دلالي على حدة، وقد اشتمل البحث على مقدمة وثلاثة مباحث وخاتمة، تتناول المقدمة نظرية العلاقات الدلالية وأقسام الوحدة الدلالية عند اللغويين، كما تشمل ترجمة موجزة للأديب الكبير توفيق الحكيم، مع بيان رواياته المستهدفة بالدراسة، ويتناول المبحث الأول مفهوم الترادف لغة واصطلاحا، ويتناول المبحث الثاني موقف اللغوين من الترادف قديما وحديثا، ثم يعرض المبحث الثالث التعبيرات الاصطلاحية المترادفة داخل المجالات الدلالية، ثم يخلص البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج المثبتة في الخاتمة، تليها قائمة المصادر والمراجع.

This research discusses the issue of synonymy between idiomatic expressions in the novels of Tawfiq al-Hakim. The idiomatic expressions in the novels have been processed according to the theory of semantic fields, which are categorized into five domains: human attributes (innate and behavioral), human activities (physical/ sensory/ psychological/ mental), human relationships (positive/ negative), events, and entities. The phenomenon of synonymy has been studied within these domains, with the identification of the idiomatic expressions belonging to them. This study aims to uncover the idiomatic expressions subject to synonymy in novels and to assess the prevalence of synonymy within them. The study follows the analytical inductive methodology , in which idiomatic expressions in novels are surveyed, categorized according to semantic field theory. Subsequently, the semantic relationships between these expressions are analyzed to identify synonymous expressions within each semantic field individually. The study consists of an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction addresses the theory of semantic relations and the divisions of semantic units among linguists. It also includes a brief resume of the renowned writer Tawfiq al-Hakim, along with a statement of the novels targeted for study. The first chapter examines the concept of synonymy both linguistically and terminologically. The second chapter explores the linguists' historical and contemporary perspectives on synonymy. The third chapter presents synonymous idiomatic expressions within semantic fields. The research concludes with a set of confirmed results in the conclusion, followed by a list of sources and references.
