المستخلص: البحث دراسة في دلالة مفردة (أحسن) بصيغة أفعل التفضيل من خلال السياق القرآني الواردة فيه، وأجاب البحث عن أسئلة أهمها: ما الدلالات السياقية لمفردة أحسن بصيغة أفعل التفضيل في القرآن الكريم؟ وهل كل سياقات (أحسن) بلفظ أفعل التفضيل تفيد المفاضلة أم لا؟ واشتمل البحث على أحد عشر مبحثاً، رتبت حسب الموضوعات التي وردت فيها مفردة أحسن، وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج أهمها: أن الأصل في مفردة أحسن التفضيل في القرآن الكريم أنها على بابها في المفاضلة، واستثنى من هذا مواضع جاءت مسلوبة المفاضلة.

The research is a contextual semantic study in which the researcher traces the verses in which the word “AHSN” is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an in the form of the most effective form of preference. Because the intent of this research is to show the connotations of the contexts for the term better in the form of the preferred verbs only, and the research answered the most important questions, what are the contextual indications of the term better in the form of the verbs of preference in the Holy Qur’an? And are all contexts better with the verb of preference, benefiting the participation of two things in an adjective, with the addition of one of them? Over the other, as is apparent from the original meaning of preference or not? The research included eleven chapters arranged by the researcher according to the topics in which the term “AHSN” was mentioned. In other words, he came to deny preference and preference between contradictory ones, i.e., between good and bad, in many places.
