المستخلص: حاول هذا البحث دراسة جانب مهم من جوانب التداولية وهو الإشاريات Deixis، وهي كلمات مبهمة لا يفهم معناها إلا من خلال السياق التداولي، والمعلومات المشتركة بين المرسل والمتلقي، وحاول البحث تطبيقها على رسائل جبران خليل جبران، بهدف الوصول إلى المقاصد التداولية التي أرادها جبران من خلال استخدام هذه الإشاريات، حيث تطرق البحث إلى أربعة أنواع من الإشاريات في رسائل جبران هي: الإشاريات الشخصية، والإشاريات الزمانية، والإشاريات المكانية، والإشاريات الاجتماعية، وبين البحث أهمية السياق في تحديد مفهوم هذه الإشاريات، وبالتالي إمكانية الوصول لتفسير مقبول لنص الرسالة كما أراد جبران، وقد وقع الاختيار على رسائل جبران؛ لكثرة الإشاريات المتناثرة فيها بأنواعها المختلفة، وانتهى البحث إلى جملة من النتائج من أهمها: أن الوصول إلى المقاصد التداولية للإشاريات أمر ضروري حتى نصل لمقصد الكاتب، ومن النتائج أيضا بروز الإشاريات الشخصية في الرسائل مما يؤكد الطابع الذاتي لها، وكذلك وجود سياق تداولي خاص مشترك بين جبران ومخاطبيه، هذا السياق يشبه عملية تشفيرية بينه وبين مخاطبيه.

This research tried to study an important aspect of the pragmatics, which is signals, which are vague words whose meaning is understood only through the deliberative context, and the information shared between the sender and the receiver, and the research tried to apply them to the messages of Gibran Khalil Gibran, with the aim of reaching the deliberative purposes that Gibran wanted through the use of these signals, where the research touched on four types of references in Gibran's messages: Personal signals, temporal signals, spatial signals, social signals The research showed the importance of context in determining the concept of these signs, and thus the possibility of reaching an acceptable interpretation of the text of the message as Gibran wanted, and the choice fell on Gibran's messages, because they represent language in their uses, which is consistent with the pragmatic approach that is concerned with the study of language in use The research concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are: that access to the deliberative purposes of the signals is necessary until we reach the intention of the writer, and the results also the emergence of personal references in the messages, which confirms the subjective nature, as well as the existence of a special deliberative context common between Gibran and his addressees, this context is similar to the process of encryption between him and his addressees,,.
