|a تستهدف هذه الدراسة استخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية في تحليل التوزيع المكاني للمطاعم بمدينة الدمام. وذلك بالاعتماد على أهم الجوانب التطبيقية لنظم المعلومات الجغرافية المتمثلة في التحليل المكاني، للكشف عن خصائص التوزيع المكاني للمطاعم ونمط توزيعها، وتقييم كفاءة توزيعها وفقا للمعيار المحلي مع دراسة خصائص المترددين على مطاعم الوجبات السريعة بالدمام. وخرجت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج والتوصيات والتي من أهمها زيادة أعداد مطاعم الوجبات السريعة في الأحياء العالية الكثافة والمحرومة من الخدمة، مما يقلل الضغط عليها، وبالشكل الذي يضمن استدامتها، وبما يتناسب مع كل من المساحة وأعداد السكان بأحياء بالمدينة مع ضرورة وضع حلول علمية للمطاعم المخالفة للمعايير التخطيطية لخطورتها على سكان مدينة الدمام.
|b The study focused on the use of geographic information systems in analyzing the spatial distribution of Restaurants in Dammam. By relying on the most important aspects of the application of geographic information systems represented in spatial analysis, to reveal the characteristics of the spatial distribution of Restaurants and their pattern of distribution, and to evaluate the efficiency of their distribution in accordance with the local standard. The study came out with a number of results and recommendations The most important of which is increasing the number of fast food restaurants in high-density neighborhoods that are deprived of service, which reduces pressure on them, and in a manner that guarantees their sustainability, and in a manner commensurate with both the area and the number of residents in neighborhoods in the city, with the need to develop scientific solutions for restaurants that violate planning standards because of their danger to the residents of Dammam.
