المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم إيجاز مهم في كلا الجانبين، حيث يرى كاتبها أنه على الرغم من الأهمية الخاصة لإسهامات دوركايم الأنثروبولوجية، فستظل الإحاطة بها قاصرة ما لم توضع في السياق السيري لإميل دوركايم؛ أي في السياقات التاريخية والاجتماعية لحياة هذا المفكر، وأثرها سلبا أو إيجابا في مسار عطائه الفكري وإنتاجه لتلك الأفكار والنظريات السوسيولوجية عامة، والأنثروبولوجية خاصة، لم يترك أي مفكر اجتماعي وعالم اجتماع أثرا كبيرا في فكر الأنثروبولوجيا ومسارها، مثلما ترك إميل دوركايم؛ فمساحة التقاطعات الكبرى بين الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية والثقافية من جهة، وعلم الاجتماع، من جهة أخرى، إنما يعود الفضل فيها إلى إسهامات دوركايم، التي كانت ولا تزال تشكل المعين اليومي للباحثين في هذه الحقول الخصبة من العلوم الاجتماعية. وعلى الرغم من كثرة الأبحاث والدراسات التي تنشر حول هذا المفكر الاجتماعي العظيم، فإن نصيب إسهاماته الأنثروبولوجية منها بشكل محدد، لا يزال قليلا نسبيا، أن لم يكن نادرا، وخصوصا ما ينشر منها بالعربية. كما تعاني كثير من الدراسات، التي سعت لتسليط الضوء على أفكار هذا المفكر الاجتماعي ونظرياته غيابا إما كليا أو جزئيا للسياقات التاريخية والاجتماعية المصاحبة لها، أي كما لو كانت تلك الأفكار والنظريات منزوعة من الظروف التاريخية لإنتاجها.

This study aims to provide an important brief on both sides, as its author considers that despite the special importance of Durkheim’s anthropological contributions, it will remain inadequate unless placed in the biographical context of Emile Durkheim. The biographical context, here, involves the historical and social contexts of the life of this thinker, and their negative or positive impact on the path of his intellectual output, and his production of those sociological ideas and theories, in general, and the anthropological in particular. No social thinker or sociologist left a significant impact on the thought and path of anthropology, as Emile Durkheim did in the area of great intersections between social and cultural anthropology, on one hand, and sociology, on the other hand. Thanks to Durkheim's contributions, which were and still considered to be a daily resource for researchers in these fertile fields of social sciences. Despite the large number of researches and studies published on this great social thinker, the share of his anthropological contributions, in particular, is still relatively small, if not rare, especially those published in Arabic. Many studies, which sought to shed light on the ideas and theories of this social thinker, suffer from either a complete or specific absence of the accompanying historical and social contexts, as if those ideas and theories were extracted away from the historical conditions of their production.
