المستخلص: للوقف مكانة هامة في الإسلام، تظهر من خلال الأهداف السامية التي تخدم أفراد المجتمع الإسلامي بما لا يضر بمصالح الواقف وذريته وذوي القربى، بالإضافة إلى مكانة الوقف الذري عند العلماء فما زالوا ينشغلون بهذه المسألة، ويتناولونها بالبحث من خلال المجامع الفقهية والندوات والمؤتمرات؛ وذلك لكون الوقف الذري تطبيقاً لمبدأ التعاون والتكافل والبر. ويُعتبر الوقف الذري من أكثر الأوقاف انتشاراً؛ وذلك لتعدد مقاصد الواقفين اتجاه هذا النوع من الأوقاف، منها: الحرص على بقاء مصدر مالي للذرية يستمر. الخوف من تبديد الورثة للثروة. وجود ورثة ضعاف، فيخشى الواقف ضياع حقوقهم. حرمان البنات وأولادهم من الميراث. وغيرها من المقاصد التي تجعل من الوقف الذري انتشاراً كبيراً بالرغم استحداث لفظه ما بين المعاصرين.

The progeny (offspring) endowment has a significant position in Islam, which is evident through its lofty goals that serve the Islamic community members in a way that does not harm the donor's interests, his/her descendants, and relatives. This is in addition to the status of the endowment among the theology Imams and religious scholars. They are still preoccupied with this issue of progeny (offspring) endowment, and they tackle and discuss it through jurisprudence councils, seminars, and conferences. This is because the progeny (offspring) endowment is an application of the principles of cooperation, solidarity and righteousness. The progeny (offspring) endowment is considered one of the most widespread endowments. This is due to the many purposes of the donors towards this type of endowment, including the following purposes: Ensuring that a financial source for the offspring remains continuous. Fear of heirs squandering wealth. The presence of weak heirs, so the donor fears losing their rights. Depriving daughters and their sons of inheritance. This is in addition to other purposes that make the progeny (offspring) endowment widely spread despite the recent introduction of this specific term among contemporary theology scholars and Imams.
