المستخلص: يهدف البحث الراهن إلى الوقوف على أهم مفهومات التمكين الاجتماعي للمرأة، ثم التعرف على مؤشرات التمكين الاجتماعية للمرأة، وأخيرا يعرض البحث أبرز النظريات التي تناولت التمكين الاجتماعي للمرأة (نظرية التمكين، والنظرية النسوية)، حيث يعرض البحث أبرز القضايا النظرية التي تتناولها هاتان النظريتان. والبحث الراهن يعد من البحوث النظرية البحتة Theoritical Research، والتي تعتمد بالأساس على الدراسة المكتبية دون إجراء دراسة ميدانية، ولهذه البحوث أهمية كبيرة جدا في تحقيق إضافة علمية ونظرية، وإثراء المكتبة العربية. وقد توصل البحث إلى إبراز أهم تعريفات التمكين الاجتماعي للمرأة، ثم كشف البحث عن أهم المؤشرات التي يمكن استخدامها في قياس التمكين الاجتماعي للمرأة، وأبرزها ثقة المرأة بنفسها والاعتماد على ذاتها، ومقدرة المرأة على دعم العلاقات الاجتماعية وتكوين الصداقات الجديدة من خلال مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وتنمية وعي المرأة بحقوقها الاجتماعية، والفرص المتاحة في سرعة الوصول إلى المعلومات واكتساب المعرفة، وقدرة المرأة على مواجهة المشكلات الاجتماعية ومختلف أشكال العنف أو التهميش أو التمييز ضدها، أو عدم المساواة بين النوعين، وزيادة مقدرة المرأة على إبداء رأيها بحرية تامة في مجال الأسرة أو العمل أو المجتمع، والاهتمام بتعليم المرأة والقضاء على الأمية، وتغيير العادات الاجتماعية الضارة صحيا ونفسيا على المرأة، وارتفاع مكانة المرأة في الأسرة، ومشاركة الزوج والأبناء في تحمل المسئوليات والالتزامات الأسرية، وعضوية المرأة في التنظيمات الاجتماعية، ومشاركتها في أنشطة خارج المنزل، ومشاركة المرأة في اتخاذ القرارات على مستوى الأسرة والعمل والمجتمع.

The current research aims to identify the most important concepts of women’s social empowerment, then identify indicators of women’s social empowerment, and finally the research presents the most prominent theories that dealt with women’s social empowerment (empowerment theory and feminist theory), as the research presents the most prominent theoretical issues addressed by these two theories. The current research is considered purely theoretical research, which relies mainly on library study without conducting a field study. This research is of great importance in achieving scientific and theoretical addition and enriching the Arab library. The research reached the most important definitions of women’s social empowerment. Then the research revealed the most important indicators that can be used to measure women’s social empowerment, the most prominent of which are: Women's self-confidence and self-reliance, women's ability to support social relationships and form new friendships through social networking sites, developing women's awareness of their social rights, opportunities available in quickly accessing information and acquiring knowledge, women's ability to confront social problems and various forms of violence, marginalization or... Discrimination against her, or inequality between the two genders, increasing women’s ability to express their opinions completely freely in the field of family, work or society, paying attention to women’s education and eliminating illiteracy, changing social customs that are harmful to women’s health and psychologically, Women's increased status in the family, participation of the husband and children in bearing family responsibilities and obligations, women's membership in social organizations and their participation in activities outside the home, women's participation in decision-making at the family, work and community levels.
