المستخلص: The current research aims to identify the effect of using the numbered heads strategy supported by some electronic media on developing some athletics skills and engaging in them among sports school students. It was conducted in the second semester during the academic year 2023/2024 AD, and the researcher used the experimental method using pre- and post-measurements for one group. The “second year middle school students” sample consists of (70) students, divided as follows: (50) as an experimental sample and (20) as a survey sample. Homogeneity was carried out among the sample members, and the educational program was designed using the numbered heads strategy. The researcher designed a measure of engagement and skill tests in some athletics skills as research tools. Among the most important results I reached: The educational program using the numbered heads strategy has a positive impact on improving the level of performance of the athletics skills under research and the engagement scale. The researcher recommends the necessity of employing and adopting the numbered heads strategies in learning skill performance and cognitive achievement in individual and group games.
