|a سعت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى جودة الحياة الأسرية، وكذلك التعرف على الفروق في مستوى جودة الحياة الأسرية تبعا لمتغير جنس الوالدين لأسر الأفراد من ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية البسيطة بمدينة الرياض، وقد تكونت العينة من (٤٢٢) مشاركا من كلا الوالدين، وبلغ عدد الآباء (١٩٨)، بينما بلغ عدد الأمهات (٢٢٤) تراوحت الفئات العمرية بين (20- 70) سنة فأكثر، وتم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، كما تم تطبيق مقياس جودة الحياة الأسرية لمركز الشاطئ من إعداد (Hoffman et al., 2006) وتعريب الباحثة. وتوصلت النتائج إلى ارتفاع مستوى جودة الحياة الأسرية لأسر الأفراد من ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، وعدم وجود فروق تعزى لمتغير جنس الوالدين. وعلى ضوء الإطار النظري، ونتائج كل من الدراسات السابقة والدراسة الحالية قدمت الدراسة عددا من التوصيات والبحوث المقترحة.
|b The current study aimed to assess family quality of life while examining potential variations based on parental gender among families of Individuals with mild intellectual disabilities in Riyadh. The sample consisted of (198) fathers and (224) mothers comprising a total of (422), the age groups ranged between (20- 70) years and over. Participants selected through a simple random method. The study was applied Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale by (Hoffman et al., 2006) and Arabized by the researcher, to assess family quality of life. Employing survey descriptive method, the study found a notably high level of family quality of life among families of individuals with intellectual disabilities, Additionally, no significant differences were identified based on parental gender. Based on the results, the study offers several key recommendation.
