المستخلص: تكتسب دراسة (مفهوم الهوية) حساسية شديدة وأهمية قصوى، ذلك أن أي مشروع فكري أو سياسي أو اجتماعي... لابد له من قاعدة فكرية وهوية يقوم عليها، ويعد مشروع بناء المجتمعات والإنسان المشروع الأهم على مر التاريخ، بل يتعدى إلى غاية وجود الإنسان ذاته في إعمار العالم وتحسين شروط وجوده باستمرار. تواجه هذه الغاية السامية بعض المعيقات في فترات من التاريخ، ومن أشدها خطورة وقوع الإنسان في دوامة العنف وإزهاق الأرواح، وهنا يكون الداء هو الدواء، وهو الهوية، فمتى كان وعينا بهويتنا أنضج كانت أفكاره قابلة للتحسين والنقد، وكانت جذوة العنف في أدنى مستوياتها، ومتى كان وعينا بهويتنا أقل نضجاً ومعتقداته وأفكاره غير قابلة للمساس والنقد، كانت نار العنف في أوجها. هذا ما نحاول من خلال هذه المباحثة إيضاحه مع تقديم رؤية معاصرة للهوية ونقصد (الهوية المركبة)، مع محاولة تحديد معالمها، وأبرز القائلين بها، ومدى جدواها في قضية العنف.

The study of the concept of identity acquires great sensitivity and importance, as any intellectual, political or social project must have an intellectual base and identity upon which it is based. The project of building societies and the human being is considered to be the most important project throughout history. Rather, it goes beyond the goal of human existence itself in the construction of the world and constantly improving the conditions of its existence. This sublime goal encounters some obstacles in some periods of history, the most dangerous of which is the human being's fall into the cycle of violence and loss of life, and here the disease itself is the medicine and it is the identity. Whenever our awareness is clearer and the person with his beliefs and ideas is subject to improvement and criticism, the ember of violence will be at its lowest level. And when our awareness of our identity is less mature, and man, with his beliefs and ideas, is untouchable, the fire of violence is at its height. This is what we are trying to clarify through this discussion while presenting a contemporary vision of identity and we mean the complex identity with an attempt to identify its features, the most prominent advocates of it and its feasibility in the issue of violence.
