المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث رواية "تغريبة القافر" للروائي العُماني زهران القاسمي، وهي الرواية الفائزة بجائزة البوكر للرواية العربية لعام (2023م)، وقد نسج الكاتب هذه الرواية من تراث القرية العُمانية، وهو ما أعطاها هذه الخصوصية وهذه الشهرة، استخدم الكاتب القالب السيري في كتابة روايته، ونَهَجَ نَهْج الحكايات الشعبية، فكان هناك حكاء شعبيا يروي لنا قصة القرية وقصة الماء وقصة القافر بكل الآمال والطموحات والأهداف والعقبات والانتكاسات، يحكي فيها عن القرية بكل مساوئها وأخلاق أهلها، ويعرض فيها للحياة الاجتماعية ولأصناف الناس ومشكلاتهم الخلقية ولمعتقداتهم الشعبية الغالبة عليهم بما تتضمنه من أساطير وخرافات وسحر وتأويلات غير منطقية للأمور، وكذلك لأهم سماتهم كالثرثرة وتناقل الكلام وأكل حقوق الآخرين والاتفاق على الباطل وغيرها؛ لذا فهذه الرواية تمثل وثيقة أنثربولوجية. هكذا يروي لنا الكاتب سيرة القرية، ويتعاضد مع ذلك سيرة الماء، الذي تأتى الحديث عنه كونه جزءا من المنظومة الإيكولوجية من جهة، ومن جهة أخرى رمزا له دلالاته القابعة والماثلة من خلال علاقة القافر الغرائبية بالماء، التي تمر بمراحل مختلفة بدءا من استكشاف الأصوات المائية والتعامل معها، وانتهاء بالتوحد مع الماء، في تلك الرواية نجد للماء لغة وبلاغة، نجد الماء ينادي والقافر ينصت ويرد، نجد علاقة عشق وهيام تجمعهما، فكل منهما يبحث عن الآخر، تلك هي رواية (تغريبة القافر) والتي جمعت بين سيرة القرية وسيرة الماء، ومن هنا حاولت التركيز على هذين المحورين اللذين يتركز حولهما السرد، من جهة أخرى، مستعينة بأدوات المنهج السيميائي الذي يسهم في الكشف عن مدلولات النص وعلاماته اللغوية وغير اللغوية، وآلية عمل هذه العلامات وعلاقتها ببعضها البعض داخل النص السردي، بما يتيح لنا سبر أغوار النص بطريقة علمية منهجية.

This research is a semiotic study, which examines the novel “The Alienation of the Water Diviner” by Omani novelist Zahran Al Qasimi - winner of 2023 Arab Booker Prize. The writer has woven this novel from the heritage of the Omani village, which gave it this uniqueness and fame. The author employs a biographical format and adopts the style of popular tales featuring a storyteller telling us the story of the village, the story of the water and the story of the diviner with all their hopes, ambitions, goals, obstacles and setbacks, The novel depicts the village with all its flaws, and presents the morals of its people, their social life, the types of people, their moral problems, and their prevailing popular beliefs that include myths, superstitions, magic and illogical interpretations of things. It also highlights their most important features such as gossip, spreading rumors, encroaching on the rights of others, agreeing on falsehood and others; as such, this novel represents an anthropological document. This is how the author narrates the biography of the village, and the biography of water, which is presented as part of the ecosystem on the one hand, and on the other hand, as a symbol that has its connotations presented through the relationship of the diviner with water, which goes through different stages, starting from exploring and dealing with water sounds, and ending with uniting with it, In this novel, we find water has language and eloquence; we find water calling and the diviner listening and responding; we find a relationship of love and passion that brings them together, as each one of them is looking for the other, This novel, ”The alienation of the Water Diviner” combined the biography of the village and the biography of the water, Hence, in this research, I tried to focus on these two axes around which the narrative is focused, which are (the biography of the village) on the one hand and (the biography of the water) on the other, using the semiotic approach that contributes to revealing the connotations of the text and its linguistic and non-linguistic signs, the mechanism of these signs and their relationship to each other within the narrative text, allowing us to explore the depths of the text in a scientific and systematic way.
