Parliamentary representation in Algeria during the military regime of 1830-1870 was one of the most important issues that demonstrated the true intention of the French administration towards the Algerian people. At all levels, all councils, whether municipal, financial, and public, the administration favored the French minority to the detriment of the majority of the population, all this to preserve its interests inside Algeria. As a result, the Algerians were unable to express themselves or to push through any of their plans to reduce the power of the French until the outbreak of the liberation revolution and the achievement of independence. La représentation parlementaire en Algérie pendant le régime militaire de 1830-1870 est l'une des questions les plus importantes qui ont démontré la véritable intention de l'administration française envers le peuple algérien. À tous les niveaux, dans tous les conseils, qu'ils soient municipaux, financiers ou publics, l'administration a favorisé la minorité française au détriment de la majorité de la population, tout cela afin de préserver ses intérêts à l'intérieur de l'Algérie. Les Algériens n'ont pas pu s'exprimer ou faire passer l'un de leurs projets visant à réduire le pouvoir des Français jusqu'au déclenchement de la révolution de libération et à l'obtention de l'indépendance. |
