The Reality of Financial Technology Application in Financial Institutions: A Field Study of a Sample of Commercial Banks in Algeria

The study aimed to identify the reality of financial technology application in financial institutions in general and commercial banks in particular. The descriptive analytical method was used, and the study community consisted of employees of commercial banks and agencies in Algeria. A random sample of 50 individuals was taken, and the questionnaire was distributed to the sample members. 40 questionnaires were retrieved, with a retrieval rate of 80%. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting information. The results showed that financial technology contributes to increasing the employment of banks' funds in the study banks, as well as reducing costs in banks. Additionally, financial technology increases the profitability of those banks. |
