المستخلص: تهتم هذه القراءة الأسلوبية بدراسة النسيج اللغوي للنص الأدبي، واستقراء بنيته الداخلية، حيث الكشف عن اللغة وتجليات المعنى كمقصد للمؤلف، ومن ثم الوصول للغاية وفيها الخلود في ذات المتلقي، وعليه تتبنى فكرة تجاوز كل ما هو خارج النص، والوقوف على ذات النص عبر مستويات أربع، يكون فيها الصوت هو المبتدأ، وفيه قوة الإيقاع الذي يعكس الاستجابة للمثير العاطفي المؤثر في التلقي، ومن ثم التركيب والتصوير، وكلاهما خبر النص وصناعته، وفيه الجمع بين ثنائية الواقع واللا واقع والانزياح من الحقيقية إلى المجاز، حتى الوصول إلى مستوى الدلالة وفيها تعددية الحقول دالة على المعنى بأسلوب مباشر أو غير مباشر، وبسياقات مألوفة أو أخرى مغايرة. لقد كان هدف القراءة: إحياء النص القديم، وتحديدًا قراءة لنص لحسان بن ثابت مطلعه "هل المجد إلا السُّودد العود والندى" عبر منهجية تعيد تداول الموروث بأسلوب مغاير، يقرأ ماهية النص – الرسالة - لا ماهية المبدع – المرسل - ومن ثم معالجة الفكرة البحثية ليكون لها الأثر البين في الدراسات العربية الحديثة، والتي خلصت فيما بعد إلى أن استثمار الشاعر للمستويات الأسلوبية بشكل تام وعميق داخل البنية النصية، يصنع التجلي المؤثر للنص أولا، وللقراءة النقدية من بعد.

This stylistic reading is concerned with studying the linguistic fabric of the literary text, and extrapolating its internal structure, since the language is the vehicle for the manifestation of the author's intent and through which the author's objective remains eternally imprinted in the recipient's mind. The study accordingly adopts the idea of transcending everything that is extraneous to the text, and attempts to understand the essence of the text on four levels. The sound is the initial level as it has the power of rhythm that reflects the response to the emotional stimulus affecting the recipient. The next levels are the composition and imagery, both of which being integral to the formulation of the text which combines the duality of reality and non-reality on the one hand and the duality of the real and the metaphoric on the other until the level of true significance is uncovered and the plurality of the fields of significance whether conveyed directly or indirectly and whether it is couched in familiar or unfamiliar contexts is unveiled. The object of this reading was to revive the ancient text, specifically, a reading of a text by Hassan bin Thabit, its beginning "Is glory nothing but black wood and dew" through a methodology that re-circulates the inherited texts in a different way, where the read-ing is concerned with the essence of the text- the message- not the essence of the creator- the sender of the message. The research idea is then addressed in such a way as to have a clear impact upon modern Arabic studies. This study later concludes that the poet's thorough and deep exploitation of the stylistic levels within the textual structure, firstly makes for an effective manifestation of the text, and secondly for a subsequent appreciative critical reading.
