المستخلص: This article examines the interplay between sociology and law, highlighting the importance of understanding the social dimensions of law for achieving social justice and sustainable development. The essay begins by defining both sociology and law, focusing on the objectives and areas of study of each. The article then reviews the role of sociology in understanding and developing laws, by analyzing social phenomena and their impact on legal legislation. It also discusses challenges to collaboration between sociologists and legislators, such as bureaucratic and cultural obstacles and challenges in communication. Ultimately, the essay focuses on recent trends in sociological-legal studies and how to enhance the interaction between sociology and law to achieve sustainable development.
