المستخلص: تهدف المبادرة التي أطلقها صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس في نونبر 2023 إلى تحويل الساحل الغربي للقارة الإفريقية إلى منطقة ازدهار وسلام وأمن، مع منح دول الساحل منفذاً على المحيط بهدف إخراجها من العزلة. كما تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الدول الأفريقية المطلة على المحيط الأطلسي تزخر بموارد نفطية كبيرة جداً ولا يستهان بها، فضلاً عن الثروات المعدنية والثروة السمكية. وتقترح المبادرة المغربية على هذه الدول مشاريع ملموسة، بحيث تضع خبرتها في مجال التنمية وبنيتها التحتية رهن إشارة هذه الدول، مما سيؤثر على الدينامية الداخلية لإفريقيا ويعزز مكانتها على الساحة الدولية. ويسعى المغرب من خلال المبادرة الأطلسية إلى وضع نفسه كشريك طموح في بناء منطقة سلام وتنمية مشتركة بين بلدان الجنوب.

The initiative launched by HM. King Mohammed VI in November 2023 aims to turn the continent's western coastline into a zone of prosperity, peace and security, while giving the Sahel states access to the ocean with the aim of lifting them out of isolation. Noting that the 23 African countries bordering the Atlantic are endowed with very significant and not inconsiderable oil resources, as well as mineral and fishing wealth. The Moroccan initiative offers these countries concrete projects and makes available its development expertise, as well as its infrastructure, which will influence Africa's internal dynamics and strengthen its position on the international stage. Through the Atlantic initiative, Morocco is seeking to position itself as an ambitious partner in the construction of an area of peace and South-South co-development.

L’initiative lancée par SM. Le roi Mohammed VI en novembre 2023 vise à faire du littoral ouest du continent une zone de prospérité, de paix et de sécurité, tout en ouvrant aux États du sahel l’accès vers l’océan dans le but de les sortir de l’isolement. Notant que les 23 pays africains riverains de l’Atlantique sont dotés de ressources très importantes et non négligeables en matière de pétrole, et des richesses minières et halieutiques. L’initiative marocaine offre à ces pays des projets concrets et mette à leur disposition son expertise en matière de développement, mais aussi ses infrastructures qui influeront sur la dynamique interne de l’Afrique, et le renforcement de sa place sur l’échiquier international. Le Maroc cherche à travers l’initiative Atlantique à se positionner comme un partenaire ambitieux de construire un espace de paix et de codéveloppement Sud-Sud.
