| 520 | |b In this literary odyssey, our objective is to discerningly grasp the portrayal of the father within Maissa Bey notable novel "This Girl", exploring its manifold facets and contours. Through the incisive and critical discourse of the protagonist Malika, we are witness to the revelation of a negative, deviant, and intricate tableau of this paternal figure, depicting him as incestuous, wrathful, oppressive, and cruel. Indeed, she subtly deconstructs him and illuminates the reader on the complex, conflicting, torn, and tense dynamics that inhabit the dysfunctional family, while unearthing its unspoken truths and flaws. |d Notre but dans cette expérience littéraire est de comprendre avec délicatesse la représentation du père dans le roman Cette fille-là de Maissa Bey en explorant ses différentes facettes et dimensions.
