المستخلص: يُعد معجم الصحاح للجوهري بوتقة علم غزير لا ينضب، فقد ضم مرويات لغوية لعلماء ضاعت مؤلفاتهم وفقدت، أو مرويات للغويين أو رواة لم يدونها غير الجوهري في معجمه؛ لذا منحت هذه الميزة المعجم وصاحبه مكانة علمية مرموقة بين المعاجم. لقد استند أغلب اللغويين القدماء وصناع المعاجم على كتاب سيبويه بوصفه قرآن النحو، والسند النحوي الذي يلتجئون إليه، وكذا فعل الجوهري فقد أخذ عن سيبويه في دعم ألفاظه اللغوية، لكن بالجرد والتمحيص وجدت أن الجوهري يحيل لسيبويه أقوالا ويحتج بها لم ترد في كتاب سيبويه، الأمر الذي حدا بنا لإنشاء فكرة هذا البحث، فهل نقل تلك الآراء سماعًا عمن نقل عنه ولم يأت ذكرها في الكتاب؟ أو أنها أقوال سقطت من الكتاب في نقل النسخ وتبييض المسودات؟ وسيقف البحث على هذه الأقوال بالتحليل والتوثيق لنقف على حقيقة الأمر وصحة نسبتها لسيبويه كما أحالها الجوهري في معجمه.

Al-Jawhari's dictionary of Sahih is a crucible of abundant and inexhaustible knowledge. It includes linguistic narratives of scholars whose works have been lost, or narratives of linguists or narrators that were not recorded by anyone other than Al-Jawhari in his dictionary. Therefore, this feature granted the dictionary and its author a prestigious scientific position among dictionaries. Most of the ancient linguists and dictionary makers relied on Sibawayh's book as the Quran of grammar and the grammatical chain of transmission to which they resorted. Al-Jawhari did the same, as he took from Sibawayh to support his linguistic expressions. However, upon examination and scrutiny, I found that Al-Jawhari refers to Sibawayh's sayings and cites them as evidence that were not mentioned in Sibawayh's book. This is what prompted us to create the idea of this research. Did he transmit those opinions by hearing from those who transmitted them and did not mention them in the book? Or are they sayings that were omitted from the book in the transfer of copies and the clarification of drafts? The research will stop at these sayings through analysis and documentation to stand on the truth of the matter and the correctness of attributing them to Sibawayh as Al-Jawhari referred to them in his dictionary.
