المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التعرف على دور العمل التطوعي في تنمية المهارات الناعمة لدى طلبة جامعة تبوك من وجهة نظرهم، والكشف عن الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية تبعا للمتغيرات الآتية: (الجنس، التخصص عدد الساعات التطوعية المكتسبة)، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتم تصميم استبانة تكونت من (۳۱) عبارة موزعة على خمسة محاور: (التخطيط، الاتصال والتواصل العمل ضمن فريق اتخاذ القرار، التفكير الناقد)، وطبقت على عينة البحث البالغ عددهم (۳۲۸) من طلبة جامعة تبوك، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، وتم تحليل البيانات إحصائيا باستخدام برنامج (SPSS)، وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج، منها بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لدور العمل التطوعي في تنمية المهارات الناعمة (٤.٤٥) بانحراف معياري (٠.٥٤) وبدرجة مرتفعة، وبينت النتائج أن ترتيب المحاور وفقا للأهمية النسبية جاء كالآتي: محور العمل ضمن فريق في المرتبة الأولى بمتوسط حسابي (٤.٤٨) بانحراف معياري (٠.٤٩) وبدرجة مرتفعة، ومحور الاتصال والتواصل في المرتبة الثانية بمتوسط حسابي (٤.٤٧) بانحراف معياري (٠.٥٣) وبدرجة مرتفعة، محور التخطيط في المرتبة الثالثة بمتوسط حسابي (٤.٤٧) بانحراف معياري (٠,٥٦) وبدرجة مرتفعة، محور اتخاذ القرار في المرتبة الرابعة بمتوسط حسابي (٤.٣٨) بانحراف معياري (٠.٦١) وبدرجة مرتفعة، ومحور التفكير الناقد في المرتبة الخامسة بمتوسط حسابي (٤.٣١) بانحراف معياري (٠.٦٧) وبدرجة مرتفعة. كما دلت النتائج على عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (٠,٠٥) بين متوسطات استجابات عينة البحث تبعا لمتغير الجنس. وفي ضوء النتائج تم تقديم عدة توصيات منها: نشر ثقافة العمل التطوعي واكتساب المهارات الناعمة من خلال إقامة الملتقيات والبرامج التدريبية.

The aim of this research is to identify the role of volunteering in developing soft skills among Tabuk University students from their perspective and to reveal statistically significant differences according to the following variables: (gender, major, number of volunteer hours acquired). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used a descriptive survey method and designed a questionnaire consisting of 31 statements distributed across five axes: (planning, communication, teamwork, decision-making, critical thinking). The questionnaire was administered to a sample of 326 students from Tabuk University, selected through simple random sampling. Data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS program, and the research reached several results, including: the arithmetic mean of the role of volunteering in developing soft skills was (4.45) and with a stranded deviation of (0.54), indicating a high level. The results showed that the axes were ranked according to relative importance as follows: the teamwork axis ranked first with an arithmetic mean of (4.48) and with a standard deviation of (0.49), indicating a high level. The communication axis ranked second with an arithmetic mean of () and with a standard deviation of (0.53), indicating a high level. The planning axis ranked third with an arithmetic mean of (4.47) and with a standard deviation of (0.56), indicating a high level. The decision-making axis ranked fourth with an arithmetic mean of (4.38) and with a standard deviation of (0.61), indicating a high level. The critical thinking axis ranked fifth with an arithmetic mean of (4.31) and with a standard deviation of (0.67), indicating a high level. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean responses of the research sample according to gender. except for the number of volunteer hours acquired. In light of the results, several recommendations were presented, including: Promoting the culture of volunteering and acquiring soft skills through organizing forums and training programs.
