|a تتناول الدراسة وصف الديار المصرية وبلاد الحجاز من خلال كتاب رحلة أبو عبد الله العبدري، تلك الرحلة التي قام بها في أواخر القرن السابع الهجري/ الثالث عشر الميلادي، ووصف بدقة العمارة في بعض المدن المصرية والحجازية وبخاصة في الإسكندرية والقاهرة ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، وأحوال المجتمع المصري والحجازي، حيث انتقد بشدة بعض السلوكيات التي شهدها في تلك البلاد وبخاصة معاملتهم للغريب، كذلك تحدث عن الحياة العلمية في تلك البلاد، مع ذكر بعض التراجم لمشاهير العلماء والفقهاء، وكتاب رحلة العبدري هو المصدر الرئيس للدراسة.
|b The study deals with the description of Egypt and the Hijaz countries through the book of Abu Abdullah Al-Abdari's Journey, a journey he made in the late seventh century AH/ thirteenth century AD, and he accurately described the architecture in some Egyptian and Hijazi cities, especially in Alexandria, Cairo, Mecca and Medina, and the conditions of Egyptian and Hijazi society, where he strongly criticized some of the behaviors he witnessed in those countries, especially their treatment of foreigners, and he also talked about the scientific life in those countries, with mention of some biographies of famous scholars and jurists, and the book of Al-Abdari's Journey is the main source for the study.
