المستخلص: This study aims to analyse a collection of e-mails sent by by students of the first year Master of Italian foreign language at the Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba. With this article, we intend to examine how students have used academic e-mail, in particular the presence or absence of the structural elements opening and closing regarding the phenomenon of politeness, in order to carry out a study on the electronic writing of Algerian students and how they convey politeness to their teacher. The results obtained have shown that emails are made through various formulas, and the lack of some essential element, with the need to have linguistic and pragmatic skills.

Il presente studio, mira ad analizzare una raccolta delle e-mail, inviate dagli studenti del primo anno Master di italiano (LS) presso l’Universita Badji Mokhtar di Annaba, con questo articolo, intendiamo esaminare il modo in cui gli studenti hanno utilizzato l’e-mail accademica, in particolare la presenzao l’assenza degli elementi strutturali: apertura e chiusura riguardo al fenomeno di cortesia, al fine di svolgere uno studio sulla scrittura elettronica di studenti algerini e di come trasmettono cortesia al loro docente. I risultati ottenuti, hanno dimostrato che le e-mail sono realizzati attraverso varie formule, e la mancanza di qualche elemento essenziale, con la necessità di avere delle competenze linguistiche e pragmatiche.
