This article explores the use of unitary code-switching among paramedical students. It thoroughly examines two aspects of this linguistic practice: insertions, which add elements without syntactic impact, and incises, which integrate into the linguistic structure. The study observes a variety of alternations, such as the insertion of exclamatory expressions or commemorative formulas, as well as the integration of lexical or grammatical elements from dialectal Arabic into French statements and vice versa. The examples reveal a smooth and regular adaptation of linguistic units, while sometimes indicating syntactic interferences. This exploration demonstrates how these alternations, although occasionally non-equivalent, contribute to the richness and expressiveness of the discourse among paramedical speakers. The data collected through our survey led us to make a very unsatisfactory observation of the learners regarding to knowledge relating, firstly, to French culture, then to their ability to meet the Other It is imperative to review the contents, methods and strategies of teaching culture in FFL teaching at Algerian universities. Cet article explore l'usage de l'alternance codique unitaire chez les étudiants paramédicaux. Il examine deux aspects de cette pratique linguistique: les insertions, qui ajoutent des éléments sans impact syntaxique, et les incises, qui s'intègrent dans la structure linguistique. L'étude observe une variété d'alternances, telles que l'insertion d'expressions exclamatives ou de formules commémoratives, ainsi que l'intégration d'éléments lexicaux ou grammaticaux issus de l'arabe dialectal dans des énoncés français et inversement. Les exemples révèlent une adaptation fluide et régulière des unités linguistiques, tout en pointant parfois des interférences syntaxiques. Cette exploration démontre comment ces alternances, bien que parfois non équivalentes, contribuent à la richesse et à l'expressivité du discours des locuteurs paramédicaux. |
