المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التعرف على أثر أنموذج (PETTY) في تحصيل الفيزياء وعادات العقل المنتجة لدى طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط، ولتحقيق الهدف، تم صياغة الفرضيات التالية: 1. لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية التي درست بأنموذج (PETTY) ومتوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة التي درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية في اختبار تحصيل الفيزياء. 2. لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية التي درست بأنموذج (PETTY) ومتوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة التي درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية في مقياس عادات العقل المنتجة اختار الباحث تصميم المجموعتين المتكافئتين (تجريبي). وتحدد مجتمع البحث على طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط، في مدارس البنين المتوسطة والثانوية الصباحية التابعة لمديرية تربية الديوانية/المركز، للعام الدراسي (2022-2023) الفصل الدراسي الأول وحسب هذا التصميم تم اختيار (متوسطة الجزائر للبنين) بطريقة القرعة لتمثل العينة حيث كان طلابها (127) طالب بأربع شعب حيث اختيرت الشعبة (ج) بالقرعة لتكون المجموعة التجريبية وقد حوت على (32) طالب وكذلك الشعبة (د) لتمثيل المجموعة الضابطة وقد حوت على (31) طالب تمت المكافئة بين المجموعتين في (العمر، المتطلبات السابقة، الذكاء، مقياس عادات العقل المنتجة). كانت المادة التعليمية الخمسة فصول الأولى من مادة الفيزياء للصف الثالث المتوسط وتم وضع أهداف سلوكية للمادة المحدد إذ كانت (158) هدفاً، واعد الباحث (40) خطة تدريسية للمجموعتين، أما عن أدوات البحث فالأولى اختبار للتحصيل من (30) فقرة نوع اختيار من متعدد ذي أربعة بدائل واستخرج لها الصدق ومعامل الصعوبة وفعالية البدائل والثبات ومعامل التمييز. أما الثانية هي مقياس لعادات العقل المنتجة معد من (30) فقرة ذات ثلاث بدائل واستخرج له الصدق ومعامل التمييز والثبات تمت التجربة في الفصل الدراسي الأول اعتباراً من (12/10/2022) إلى (8/1/2023)، وبعدها تم اختبار المجموعتين وجرت المعالجة الإحصائية باستعمال برنامج spss وكانت النتائج التالية:- تميز طلاب المجموعة التجريبية على طلاب المجموعة الضابطة في كل من الاختبار التحصيلي ومقياس عادات العقل المنتجة وفي ضوء تلك النتائج قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات.

The aim of the research is to identify the impact of the (PETTY) model on the achievement of physics and the habits of mind produced by the students of the third intermediate grade, and to achieve the goal, the following hypotheses were formulated: 1. There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of students of the experimental group that studied using the (PETTY) model and the average scores of students of the control group that studied in the usual way in the physics achievement test. 2. There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the experimental group that studied using the (PETTY) model and the average scores of the students of the control group that studied in the usual way in the productive habits of mind scale. The researcher chose to design the two equal groups (experimental). The research community was determined by the students of the third intermediate grade, in the boys’ intermediate and secondary schools in the morning of the Directorate of Education of Diwaniyah / Center, for the academic year (2022-2023) the first semester. According to this design, (Algeria Intermediate School for Boys) was chosen by a lottery method to represent the sample where its students were (127) students in four divisions, where Division (C) was chosen by lot to be the experimental group and it contained (32) students, as well as Division (D) to represent the control group and it contained (31) students. Equivalence was made between the two groups in (age, previous requirements, intelligence Habits of Mind Productive Scale). The educational material was the first five chapters of physics for the third intermediate grade, and behavioral objectives were set for the specified material, as it was (158) goals, and the researcher prepared (40) teaching plans for the two groups. As for the research tools, the first is an achievement test of (30) paragraphs of multiple choice type. It has four alternatives and extracts for it validity, difficulty coefficient, effectiveness of alternatives, reliability and discrimination coefficient. As for the second, it is a measure of the productive habits of the mind, prepared from (30) items with three alternatives, for which validity, the coefficient of discrimination, and stability were extracted. The experiment took place in the first course from (12/10/2022) to (8/1/2023), after which the two groups were tested and statistical treatment was carried out using the spss program, and the following results were: The students of the experimental group excelled over the students of the control group in each of the tests Achievement and habits of mind productive measure In the light of these results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposals.
