المستخلص: يعتني هذا البحث بعلم رسم المصحف الشريف، من خلال دراسة وتحقيق (رسالة في هجاء المصحف) للإمام أبي بكر أحمد بن الحسين بن مهران النيسابوري (ت: ۳۸۱ه)، وهي رسالة مختصرة موجزة، ليست شاملة لجميع مسائل الرسم، لكنها تميزت بوجود ظواهر نادرة وغير مشهورة في كتب الرسم، كتبها مؤلفها بطلب من الأصحاب، ورتبها على الأبواب، وقد أُلحق بالكتاب أقوال ابن مهران في علم رسم المصحف مما لم يرد في كتابه هذا، أو ورد مخالفا لما فيه. ويهدف البحث إلى التعريف بمذهب المشارقة في رسم المصحف عامة، وبمذهب ابن مهران خاصة، وإبراز بعض ظواهر الرسم النادرة التي لا تكاد توجد في مؤلفات رسم المصحف الأخرى، كما يهدف إلى إخراج النص المحقق إخراجا صحيحا أقرب إلى مراد المؤلف. ومن أبرز نتائج البحث: أن هذا الكتاب يقدم مادة علمية مهمة متعلقة بكتاب "الهجاء" المفقود لابن مهران، كما يعد من أقدم المؤلفات التي وصلت إلينا في علم رسم المصحف الشريف عامة، ومن أقدم كتب المشارقة خاصة، وقد تميز الكتاب بوجود بعض ظواهر الرسم العثماني النادرة والمخالفة لمذاهب علماء الرسم وشيوخ النقل، وثبوتها في مصحف المشهد الحسيني (جامع الحسين) بالقاهرة، مثل: لفظ (ذُواْ) بالألف، و(أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ) [المزمل: ۲۰) بالوصل، (وَلَوۡ أَنَّمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ) [لقمان: ٢٧] بالفصل، وغيرها.

This research focuses on the science of Qur’anic orthography (Rasm al-Mushaf) by studying and critically editing the "Message on the Spelling of the Mushaf" (Risālat fi Hijā' al-Mushaf) by Imam Abu Bakr Ahmad bin al-Husayn bin Mihran al-Naysaburi (d. 381 AH). This is a brief and concise treatise that does not cover all aspects of Qur’anic orthography, but is distinguished by the presence of rare and uncommon phenomena in the orthography literature. The treatise was written at the request of Imam Mihran’s associates and is organized into chapters. The work is accompanied by Mihran’s views on Qur’anic orthography that are either not found in this treatise or differ from what is stated within it. The aim of this research is to introduce the approach of the Eastern scholars (al-Mashariq) in Qur’anic orthography in general, with a specific focus on Ibn Mihran’s methodology, and to highlight some rare orthographic phenomena that are scarcely found in other works on Qur’anic orthography. Additionally, the research seeks to provide an accurate critical edition of the text, closer to the author’s intended meaning. Key Findings of the Research: 1. The book presents an important scholarly material related to the lost book "Hijā’" by Ibn Mihran. 2. This treatise is considered to be one of the earliest surviving works in the science of Qur’anic orthography in general, and one of the oldest books of the Eastern scholars in particular. 3. The book is notable for containing some orthographic phenomena that deviate from the established schools of Qur’anic orthography and the transmission traditions. 4. Certain rare orthographic features mentioned in the treatise, such as the use of (ذُواْ) with the alif (أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ), [Al-Muzzammil: 20] with the connection, and (وَلَوۡ أَنَّمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ) [Luqman: 27] with separation, can also be found in the Mushaf of the Husayni Shrine (Al-Jāmi’ al-Husaini) in Cairo, among others.
